I also wanted to add that. Freakin' Kevin Martin says that who is one of the best shooters in NBA history.
Anybody know what's wrong with Darren Collison this year? Besides that one game against the Nuggets, it seems that he has regressed. He is playing more minutes. His assists are down, ast/to ratio is down, shooting percentages are lower. Is Collison playing through an injury?
1. Indiana runs the offense through the highpost, much like our own offense. 2. His court vision is average in the open court. He is a decent P&R guy, but they don't run as many of those. 3. He is young.
DING! That's the one thing that frustrates me so much about AB. If his shot's not falling he really can't do anything else to help the team.
You could say the same about Air-Bud as well. In all fairness, I see Bud trying to mix it up out there (I am sure somebody is telling him about contributing some other way), but it ain't working so well.
TJ ford when healthy is a really, really good pg and Indy has taken the ball out of collisons hands and he is struggling. All in all, he's a really good floor general when you let him just as tj is when he's healthy.
17 and counting... The threes keep dropping... The assists and steals keep rolling. The heart, IQ and tempo is easily apparent. Great find Daryl. This might be your greatest move to date. Lowry Scola Martin Hill Lee Rafer V-Span Landry McGrady Ariza In Morey we trust.
I can't believe we got this guy for Rafer. And that move got us under the luxury tax that year, too. TWill, I'm looking at you!
Has anyone else noticed the decreased amount of free throws for Lowry this year? Last year, he was getting nearly four per game coming off the bench. This year, he's barely getting three in starter minutes. He's still very aggressive on the boards and in transition (where he got most of his calls), so I don't understand the decline.
Everything doesn't increase with minutes. Coming off the bench, he could be reckless and barrell into the lane, but as a starter, you have to pick and choose your moments.
he's playing much more under control and he hasn't tried to force those free throws. it's like the game has started to slow down for lowry and he is just relaxing out there finally. great to see!
He's playing with Kevin Martin who squeezes every last tweet out of the referee's whistle, no more whistles left for lowry.
Lowry is still shooting 38.5% from the 3 pt line against mostly bad teams with poor defense. This week will be one of the toughest 2 weeks for the team. Was it just one-time streak for a 27% 3pt shooter or can he continue to shoot over 27% on 3pters for the next 2 weeks? Upcomiing games for the next 2 weeks: Miami, Toronto, Portland, Denver, Portland again, Orlando, Utah, Boston, Thunder, and the Hornets.
He doesn't do his pump fake for the sake of getting a foul anymore. He is actually trying to make the shot which is why his percentages have gone up.
