I seems to me Adelman's been taking the ball out of Lowry's hands more as of late. At end-of-quarter plays, for instance, it's been mostly Martin iso'ing his man instead of Lowry. I'm not sure what that means for the offensive schemes or why.
was it just me or did lowry take a play off D and not even get back to bring the ball up after the Jazz scored late in the third after getting lay-up blocked and whining about a missed call..... not quitting please Kyle
God... I can't wait for brooks to be back in to starting lineup. Kyle is great player who can lead bench every night. WE NEED BROOKS
Uhhhh, I missed the games tonight and last night and had to go off box scores. So someone please tell me...wtf is wrong with Lowry???
It was reported about a week ago that Lowry has been playing with a sore hamstring since about mid-December. Not sure if that's still affecting him.
Lowry is exceptional at exploiting bad teams who make late rotations as well as pushing the tempo into a transition game. He isn't as effective when the game slows down to the half court and teams have a commitment to getting back on defense.
Well when he is shooting this bad, he better get 10+ assists. Either shoot well or find better shots for teammates. Doing neither = hurting team big time.
His last 5 games 24% FG 30% 3pt 8.2 ppg 5.2 APG He has come back down to reality, we need both of our PGs.... DD
lowry is great at coming off the bench to bully and hustle. he has never been known to score so im not sure why he shot so much tonight. maybe they left him open?
While I would love to ram it down the Lowry brigades throat that things are playing out exactly as we predicted, its not really my style. What's sad is now its "Adelman's fault" and people try to blame all the teams problems on one Target.
I just want the team to win, have said forever that we need both of them to win, and that when one of them is out, it kills the team. If AB is out, Lowry can't do it all, if KL is out, AB can't either, we need them both. DD
Kyle Lowry's last 1 game: 1-13 FGs, 6 assists in an overtime game, allows his man to burn him for 15 assists Two words: Albatross Contract
Could REALLY use a healthy Brooks for his shot creating ability. The good stat with Lowry in his past 5 games is he's only turned the ball over THREE times. He's got a 10 to 1 assists+steals/turnover ratio, very nice. The bad is he still has to put the ball through the rim, which he hasnt been doing of late. Maybe the big minutes are starting to add up. Going from 15-20 minutes to 30-35 minutes can have an effect, maybe he'll get 2nd legs. Hopefully he hasnt been "figured out" but I don't really see defenses keying on Lowry.
