Sorry, I didn't think a qualifier was necessary with my previous comment. So I'll add it here. Rafer Alston was the starter that got Orlando through all the rounds of the playoffs until the Finals. Not Anthony Johnson. Orlando plugged in Jameer Nelson as the starter in the Finals, however, not Anthony Johnson or Rafer Alston. In my opinion, this made the Magic worse.

i have a feeling goran's shooting % will take a nose dive when lowry returns. All signs point to Goran needing big minutes to keep up his production and touch.

I think he needs to start and get 30 minutes. But that is exactly what should happen. Bring Lowry off the bench slowly. Allow to work himself back into game shape. That should take him most of the rest of the season. If he performs far superior to Dragic than at some point you will have to give him his starting spot back. If he plays equal or blelow Dragics level no need to rock the boat. Just bring him off the bench.

We have our backcourt starters, Dragic and Lee. And when Lowry gets healthy, we've got Dragic, Lee, Lowry, Parsons to eat up 144 minutes on the perimeter. That's gonna be real tough defensively on our opponents. We need Lowry back in the worst way right now going down the stretch. We need one more perimeter guy that can defend at a high level. I actually think Lowry is a better SG defender than Lee and Dragic and Lowry switching off out front will make us ultra tough.

How I feel. He shouldn't lose his starting spot but with the playoffs looming you want to ease in the transition as best as possible plus we never know how this infection has effected his stamina he did supposedly lose 15 pounds. When I saw him last night and ask him when he was coming back it was clear he was a lot slimmer than before.

If he comes back and plays at the high level he was before without effecting the teams chemistry than he should start but I believe that Dragic should still see more minutes and possibly play some PG/SG with Kyle if Martin is still out

(Martin though IMO stays as 6th man in a Jason Terry instant offense type role)
