He reminds me of earl watson. I've said that before and i will keep saying it. As i watch the pacers play, look who's stealing game time again.
Kyle is a much more physical player though, as shown by his rebounding and frequency of drawn fouls. In the month of January, he's averaging 8.5 rebounds per 36 minutes as a 6'0 PG. That is amazing to me.
I'm saying in terms of their play. Watch earl watson play and they are very, very similar in size, stature and the way they play. The thing with watson also is teams never think he's good enough, yet guys really don't beat him out. Teams wind up trading him to make way for the other guy. It happened in seattle with ridinour and now it happeneing in indy with ford.
I remember watching Sam fight Shaq for a rebound. It got me up out of my chair screaming. Sam was fearless. I think it is a great comparison.
Nah, but I don't think we can keep Brooks and Lowry......it might be Conroy it might be Llull....don't know yet. DD
Kyle Lowry is the Baron Davis that can't shoot or dunk on AK-47. If he learns how to shoot 3s consistently like last night, Baron Davis Lite.
Pretty much what i said a long time ago. I think lowry is starting material. If you put him with finishers, he could avg 8 asst a game. If you put him with guys that can create their own offense, he's not as effective. Brooks is the man here, this summer if lowry is still here, someone will offer him sessions type money. That will be too much for the rockets to swallow. Thats why i think he might be involved in a trade scenerio.
I 'fear' losing Lowry; breaking up Browry. If they do by 2/18 then either they are trading for someone (Sessions?), entrusting Conroy (scary) or ... or? I fear losing the pit/bulldog because I expect he is playing his way into a (pretty) expensive contract. There are teams with $$$ and needs. Bad combo when you like the guy, but...
I agree with this. Kyle is a good player but he's not Sam. He rebounds better than Sam but doesn't shoot near as well.
As has been mentioned numerous times over an extended period, yes Browry is destined to be running out of shelf life. More the pity. Sergio may surge, but who really knows yet? Conroy is uh, a concern as the only back-up 1. I believe the best alternative - if letting the season and summer run their respective courses is not the destiny - is a known commodity: player with contract. Smells like Sessions to me.
