Less than 3 weeks of work full-time. Could do it over summer.

He threw a ball at a ref. You have no argument to back a racist claim like that. He deserves a punishment and considering a ref is a protected class in Las Vegas, he's lucky he isn't getting time.

I wouldn't be surprised if David Stern was a witness for the prosecution.

    Seems a fair enough punishment.

Daryl Morey should probably go with Kyle. Would benefit Daryl to interact with humans.

I hope the ref learns from this incident.

If he only got 100 hours of mandate service, the whole Rockets team should have barraged the refs with balls yesterday.

I would have joined in, even with those stupid Wayne Wright service adds they played at the game saying no throwing stuff at the court...

I actually know somebody that did that in high school in their gym class (2003). Threw a ball at this little freshman kid and kid's parents filed charges. It was a Class C misdemeanor assault charge here in Texas.

Can the "NBA Cares" program activities count as community service? It says "100 hours of community service at a battered women’s shelter or similar program"

If so thatd be just him hanging with the team during the offseason for general promo work.

Be careful Kyle. Treat this like you have 5 fouls in the 4th quarter.

Maybe it was a matter of honor after all.
