This doesn't include the Lakers game yet. He is now averaging exactly 15 pts, 11 asts, 7 rebs, 2.4 stls.
This year so far only 4 West guards are better than him...Westbrook, Kobe, CP3, Monta Ellis. Kyle will make it in
Westbrick has been terrible this season. OVERRATED! Harden is so much better than him. He averages 4.83 assists and 4.8 TOs this season on 38% shooting (10% from 3pt). Kobe and Cp3 are a given. I'd still put Lowry over Ellis right now (who I also think is overrated especially on defense).
Didn't Westbrook have some crazy stat like more turnovers than assists this season? Think I heard it during the Mavs game.
He will be an All-Star, but at the expense of the Rockets. I'm going to say this all season, if Lowry is the leading scorer for the Rockets, we'll lose most of the games. Lowry is like Rondo, if both of them is the leading scorers for their teams, they will lose. What I like about Lowry is his toughness and what I don't like about him, he is doing too much where his teammates will be watching him instead of playing with him. Regardless, if Lowry isn't an All-Star this year, it is one of worst snubs ever. He might not only get an All-Star knot, but he might get the Most Improved Player award just like Aaron Brooks.
he had like 14 points with only 2 minutes left of the game......they Lakers were up by 9 or 10, everybody seemingly tired...... Lowry hit a couple of threes to move closer.....big shots that didn't win us the game but padded his stats up to 20 points
His numbers are obviously inflated at the moment, but I liked him as a starting PG before he got all his numbers, becasue he does the little things and gets his teammates involved as well as anyone. Scola and Martin should thank their lucky stars. I suspect he will level out to a 15-9-5 PG with solid percentages, great defense and hustle plays galore. Not to mention a huge nutsack...
Never knew he was the 'heaviest' among 6'0 PGs Lowry 205 pounds Paul 175 Rondo 186 6'1 Westbrook 187 6'3 Deron 206 6'3
Flame me for this, and I'm not trying to be a homer, but I think Lowry is playing like the best PG in this conference so far. Westbrook has a higher chance of making it, but I would NOT want him on our team. The cost would be too great. Nash is not Nash this year, and will be playing on a .350 team. Lowry is doing this against all solid teams. Of course CP3 is the better PG. Nash is a future HOF'er and so on. But, if I never saw these guys play before and knew nothing about them, I'd put Lowry among the top two PG's in the West.
THat was my only prediction before the season started. I only try to make bold predictions. I predicted that Lowry will either make his first All-Star appearance or that he will be MIP (despite last year being a huge leap for him)
So. Melo and Deron were transfered to the East and Manu and Zach were transfered to the hospital. Four open spots and only two certain newcomers in Aldridge and Bynum. Kyle will be there if healthy Locks are now: CP3, Kobe, Durant, Dirk, Bynum, Love, Aldridge, Griffin. Enough place for Kyle
