Kubrick used his film The Shining to vent about his hand in faking the moon landing??

Old typewriters did not have a 1, a lower case L was used instead. Because of this the l's had to look like 1's.

 

Capricorn "L" ftw. Interesting, but lots of jumps and I would think too many snags in that it must be using things that WERE in the book to justify Kubrick's supposed intentions.

 

Do people still not believe we landed on the moon? Wasn't there an article about a week ago where scientists were looking at pictures of the moon landing site that were recently taken and they were surprised the flags were still standing?

 

The conspiracy theory is that we didn't land on the moon in 1969, not that we didn't make it there later.

 

Seriously? So the idea is to fake the initial landing, with thousands of people in the hoax, and then quietly and secretly land later to place the evidence that would be missing from the fake Eagle, etc? Wow, wow and wow.

I think the Earth is also faking its spin. I mean, why is there no incredible wind if we're spinning?

 

Makes about as much sense as the theory that we planted bombs all over the WTC, then crashed planes into them to distract people from figuring it out.

 

If he had just talked about how there was all this imagery related to space travel, I'd say sure. Obviously Kubrick must have an interest in the subject, given 2001: A Space Odyssey.

The part with Danny standing on a hypothetical launching pad with his Apollo 11 sweater is probably the one thing he talked about that I really found intriguing.

 

Not to necessarily secretly land (though that is a theory). They did have 6 missions to the moon. It was a race to see who could get there first. You could infer that the Americans knew they were close, but that the Soviets would beat them, so they staged the initial landing to win.

Edit: Personally, I don't see how they could keep something so big a secret.

 

That is because terrorists planting bombs in the WTC would have been unbelievable. Its not like terrorists have ever successfully bombed a building...

We were trying to see how many pages it could go. Way to go.

 

I have been feverishly working on a video that shows conclusively that Star Wars is really about how we faked (sic) the "moon" "landing." Shhhh. Kenobi's famous line is central.

 

To be fair, thats the order of all the emotions...starting with thinking of it as a joke, to realizing there might be something there, to becoming enlightened.

One or two of those faces would have made the message incomplete.
