    He along with Joe Marciano are going to get 3 year extensions today so they can stop worrying about the firing rumors and concentrate on coaching. (battlefightin)

    My guess is "word on the street" is 790 morning show. Adam Clanton was saying early this morning that the Texans front office is very quiet, which is unusual especially after a bad loss. Usually McNair at least gives interviews to publicly support his coaching staff and front office personnel. Clanton theorized that maybe that meant a possible firing might happen today, but it sounded pretty tenuous at best.

    Like others in the threat, I'm not getting my hopes up.
