You hate the DH more than you love your team.... even after 50 years of cheering them?!? You sound like an emotional woman who can't compartmentalize. I'd rather be a so-called "dumbass" than a b****.

You've had at least 50 years on this planet, you still have time to grow a pair... maybe.

I don't recall Charles or Mailman losing as a favorite as much as Peyton has.

It's not debatable. I listen to plenty national sports talk and whenever this topic comes up, Peyton fails... again.

He's not even in the Top 5.

Manning is a victim of his own success.

So many wins in the regular season, then, playoff failure.

    He's a postseason headcase.

Sure they did... With Houston being at the forefront of those collapses. I also don't recall either of them wining it all either.

Apparently it is debatable... Despite what your national sports talk radio friends say (and you do know that those guys are literally the LCD experts).

Manning is top 5 and his SB win ensures that.

I suspect Dan Marino is not even a top 25 QB by your standards.

Peyton is at least top 5 in the modern era. You have, in no particular order, Brady, Montana, Marino, Manning, Elway. If you include before my time then I don't know.

Well, Manning lost as a favorite at least 10x.

    Barklone doesn't have half that.

It's pretty bad when a clear Top 2 regular season QB can't make a Top 5 postseason list.

    #headcase

    Yes, you are suspect.

Seriously though, Marino is Top 10 all-time

In a hypothetical playoff question.... yes, Top 25

They'd trade half of their career success for a title.

Not really. Favre, Elway, Marino, Kelley, Moon, Tarkenton, Warner, Fouts all have trouble making your mythical/meaningless list that has Eli, Aikman, and Flacco ranked highly.

Head cases don't make it to Super Bowls, let alone win them.

Drayton is the profiteerer that sold this franchises history.

Bud wanted his beloved Brewers in the NL for one reason, NL franchises are worth more money. Hope McClain stadium is worth the Astros history Uncle D.

Crane wanted to buy a team and had been turned down a few times before. The only way Crane was going to get a team was to agree to Selig's terms. Selig even agreed to have MLB pitch in on the purchase price.

Hope McClain/Bud can take the money they made off of this rigged deal.

Bud was doing what the other owners wanted. Blame them all.

No it hasn't. It's the same kind of dumassery that exist in most threads in this forum and the D&D.

Discussing top 5 QBs all time and the value put on playoff success is actually an interesting topic. Especially on a Texans bye week. Better than the same old "fire Rick Smith" and "we should have drafted _______"

They would still be ridiculed and mocked if they were a #1 seeded one-and-done like Peyton. Or even 2nd round and done.

It's really easy to understand, but you wanna grab an angle to argue.

I never said Eli or Flacco is an all-time great overall. But they are more clutch than Peyton playoff headcase Manning.

The majority of their playoff exits were just that.

And yet Manning has been to more SB's than both of them...

    On what planet?

Barkley was a #1 or #2 seed, three times.
1x - he went to the Finals where he lost to the favored Bulls
    2x - he fell to Hakeem's greatness
0x - he lost in the first round

    Malone was #1 or #2, 12x
He lost in the 1st or 2nd round 8x

Props to Manning for choking less than Karl "ultimate playoff headcase" Malone.

    Peyton also quadrupled their one-and-dones

    Peyton "all-time one-and-done" Manning
    One-and-done King
    The ultimate football postseason headcase

I'm not sure why you're fighting so hard for Peyton. Closet fan?
Or maybe all his failure makes you feel better about your own situation.

Just saving everybody from your ignorance. It's hilarious that even in the basketball examples, you just realized that both Barkley and Malone failed the majority of times they were a #1 and #2 seed as well. The lack of championships defines them.

It's hard to pin that same failure on Manning when he has actually won one.

It's predictable you'd miss the "as a favorite" aspect... something Barkley did once in 15 years.

Props to Manning for beating out Karl though.

I get what you're saying...but when I, personally, think of playoff failure...I think of Barkley and Malone long before I think of Manning. If you played a word association game and said "playoff failure" I don't think Manning would instantly pop into my head.

Barkley going on and on as a commentator about what it takes to win a championship is absolutely laughable.
