The shades were just part of his persona, along with the silver hair, and white suit. He wore that stuff even as a sheriff's deputy way back in the day because he loved the attention. But, he was one of the few people who actually did GOOD with all the attention he received. He helped THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS of people who truly needed it, and the world is less of a place without him. RIP Marvin....I hope you're having good golf, good tennis, or whatever makes you happy up in heaven.

    aww man, thats sad.

I'm glad they are devoting the full hour of the nightly news to Marvin on Ch.13 right now. They also led off the Channel 2 nightly news about his life. Classy move.

    Marvin led a full life.

Hmmm.. When I was 11, I bit a kids finger off.

You sure it was "rabbit" or "rabid."

Time to bid "adieu" with a Houston Icon with a song that was written because of his actions.

I really hope a lot of y'all watched the Channel thirteen tribute. While I was watching, I was talking to my friends about the final "Thank you, Marvin." Luckily, we all got it.

    Godspeed.

    R.I.P.

The man is a legend. He needs his own statue or something similar as a tribute.

I guess we won't be seeing the big big S anymore. Marvin Zindler was truly a legend.
