It seems like such a coincidence that this thread was started because I heard some very similar info from a friend of mine. He was in a local gentlemen's establishment not long ago and apparently a few of the girls new KT. They talked about how pissed he was at the Rockets and how he blamed Rudy for pulling the trigger on the deal.

You're kidding, right? While he was a black hole, he was also a guy who was giving "110%", as you claim Posey does. I don't think anybody had anything bad to say about his style of play and heart except for the black hole bit (which is bad, yes, but that's not the point of your original assertion).

Seeing as how he was a PF who was shorter than most guys he went up against, he was a good defender and rebounder, and he worked on his shot to the point where he was, for a while, our best forward.

Never had any motivation? The dude worked on his game and his conditioning like crazy during the season and the offseason. Posey plays with passion... who are you to say Kenny Thomas doesn't? He doesn't show as much emotion, but that doesn't mean he's not passionate about winning. KT disappears durin games? What about all the games where Posey has played like CRAP and wasn't able to hit an outside shot to save his life? I don't recall KT disappearin during games either; I think you just maybe saw 1 or 2 games where he did that and generalized it to his entire season.

Rudy screwed him just like he did to Horry, Cassell, Elie, and the championship team. I don't blame KT but I was happy to see him go. lol

Hopefully things will work out for KT and he can find a good home this offseason so he won't be mad at the Rox anymore.

Sixers are now the hottest team in the East and may have a chance to go to Finals. On the other hand Rockets are fighting for the playoffs and are likely to be swept in the 1st round even if making to the postseason. What's KT unhappy about?

KT's prob is that he is undersized, but he has skillz. The deal seemed right for all 4 -- Rox, 6ers, JPo and KT.

Why is this such an issue? I wish KT well, JPo weller, tho.

If you look at the quote, he says "F*CK HOUSTON". He doesn't say anything about the Rockets...

Maybe he doesn't like that big ferris wheel...

Maybe he was promised a big future contract, then suddenly he's shipped off to a new team that needed he to prove himself again.

I used to do some work with the Rockets strength and conditioning program. KT didn't have to best attitude, and doesn't have the most self confidence. He was intimidated by MoT. I used to hear lots of comments like, "MoT not that good, right" like he was looking for someone to say, "No, you the man"

Personally, I am not sad to see him go. He does have talent, but he was a black hole on offense. I don't think he would have fit with our current crew well. Offensively, MoT is superior and that will show more and more as he fully recovers from the achillies tear. I want MoT to develop a mean streak and start to throw people around in the low block. There is no reason he shouldn't average 10-12 boards a game. He is a big strong dude, who also happens to be a very friendly guy.

    That's my observation.

The NBA is a business. The players are very well-paid (overpaid) employees. The players work for the NBA, should expect to go where the NBA tells them to go, and be happy about it.

If they are not happy about that, they can walk away from their seven-figure salaries and go sailing in Tahiti. :)
