it isn't only tanking. What's the purpose of a couple of more months if Kidd remains? The good pick is just the cherry on top. Even if they improve for a couple of more months their chemistry that does nothing if he doesn't get fired. We are talking about a bottom 3 coach, who is good at absolutely nothing who has peronal close ties with an owner AND had his contract extended and is not easy to get him fired. If this season can result to his firing itwas worth it.
@malakas Thought you might enjoy this new Howard Beck article on Thon Maker http://mag.bleacherreport.com/thon-maker-bucks-unicorn/ cc @basketballholic ;-)
After studying Maker before the draft there's never been a question in my mind that he was going to become a great player if he stayed healthy. I'm only questioning how good he'll eventually be. But I'm pretty sure he'll be a top 5 big man. On that Bucks team it looks like he's eventually going to be the starting center flanked by Giannis and Jabari. With Middleton and Brogdin, that's a stout starting unit in a couple seasons. Plus whatever else they get in the draft.
That was caused by your own karma for wanting to tank. I'm convinced of this bball karma stuff for asking bball gods to tank.
They need a really good rim protecting center and they're the next dominant NBA team. Man if they could figure out a way to get Noel without giving away any core pieces, they'd be set for years. Middleton, Giannis, Noel, Parker and Brogdon and they'll win the East for next 5-8 years.
