I don't understand that at all. Temple looked like he had something to offer.

Seriously Morey? Dumb move IMO. Conroy was not impressive.

Now Landry AND Temple are going to destroy us tomorrow.

 

if we kept temple we would have to sign him for the rest of the season....i think thats why we brought conroy for his 2nd 10 day contract...by the time that expires lowry will be back

 

I believe you can only offer two ten day contracts to these guys. Temple used his two, Conroy has one left.

I was certain they would sign Temple for the rest of the season as insurance for our PG position, but I didnt know Conroy still had one more eligible tenor.

Lowry is probably back and if he doesnt re-injure himself in the next ten days, then Conroy is probably out after his contract. If Lowry or Brooks goes down, you will likely see Conroy picked up for the rest of the year.

 

people need to realize that you can't sign D-league players to more than 2 10-day contracts.

If Morey wanted to keep Temple then he would have to sign him for the rest of the year. He have Lowry for that.

It's a money saving move.

arjun's got it, bingo. also, it might of appeared that temple had something to offer but truthfully, he was just working really hard. he's the same type of guard as lowry but definitely not as good.

 

Yeah, the 2 10-day contract rule slipped my mind. Makes sense although I think Conroy is more or less useless

 

Yeah we have our hands tied with being able to sign Temple to a deal. Either way Sacramento will drop Temple not too long from now.

 

Azubuike should have taught us a lesson.

Morey did temple a favor by letting him go, he know there isn't room for another PG on the roster after lowry returns and wanted him to further his career where he can get regular backup minutes!

 

Leslie probably wasn't willing to pay to keep him the rest of the year. Temple was actually effective when he played; Conroy has sucked.
