    Once again riding Jerry's coattails.

    As for my Don Knotts comment...I love the guy, but he pretty much played the same character after his Andy Griffith run. I can't see Richards wanting to play a Kramer-like character the rest of his life and I'd be willing to bet that's the majority of parts he was offered.

    According to IMDB he hasn't exactly been tearing it up since Seinfeld. He's only done three things since then.

    i didn't watch the video, partially to not ruin any future seinfeld reruns (though i don't watch a huge amount anyway), so i don't know exactly how it went but i'm guessing he picked the wrong way (the way way way wrong way) to get back at them. if he had been at a klan rally where he could've expected a receptive audience for saying racist things and he just got caught, then it might seem reasonable to think that's how he is, but i don't see him just saying "look how racist i am" at a random comedy club outing.

    i guess he could've just snapped and let his true feelings out, but i'm siding on being really stupid over anything. we'll see what he says on letterman tonight.
