Both are relevant but I don't think age can be used too much either. More than that, I just don't see it. Not trying to be a hater but you know sometimes you can just see special with your eyes. I think he can be a solid NBAer but just don't see special there. Just my take

With you here. Only thing special i see, is the treatment this franchise has given him by bending backwards giving him an infinite pass to F up on and off the court.

That’s a completely reasonable fear given his history lol

Honestly would explain why this team is so sh*t and they don't win many games whatsoever.

    Good call DD.

    TRUTH BOMB

He’s a walking turnover, as he has the second-highest turnover rate in the NBA among the 220 players to have played at least 600 minutes so far this season. On top of that, he has a 47.0 true-shooting percentage that is eighth-worst among all of those 220 players.

Genuinely, I’m not sure there is a player in the NBA who has been more harmful to his team’s bottom line in terms of playing positive offensive basketball than Porter this season.

The TO% and TS% that you cherry-picked are countered to a degree by KPJ being currently 25th in the NBA in AST%.

25th in AST% if that’s even true, but 2nd worst turnover rate in the NBA

    “countered to a degree”…yeah, no…

If he can keep shooting 3's like that.

Honestly he has looked better when he just straight up attacked and scored instead of hesitating between scoring and passing

I agree he needs to do less razmatazz with the ball. He moves alot but doesnt go anywhere sometimes LOL -- trying too hard to be showtime. He's way better when playing relaxed and going with the flow. You are right he should start games attacking and scoring. Softening up the defense with gravity so that his passing lanes would be less congested. Adding the long ball only compounds matters for the defense. Still a work in progress. Patience!

I hope he has indeed improved his shooting. But I doubt it. It looks more like just a hot streak.

Don't forget Garry Bird shot lights out in a stretch of about 3 weeks and then he fell back to earth. The difference is, Mathews is a career 38% 3pt shooter. Porter's career average is 33%. Both guys actually have played comparable amount of NBA games.

His turnovers are down too, much more in control. He had also two dunks tonight on drives, I always feel like his athleticism is under utilized

This is beautiful and makes me so freaking happy. I hope it continues, because who wouldn't love to have a 6-6 PG that has Vernon Maxwell ice in his veins?

    KEEP AT IT KPJ!

How you can cheer for KPJ is beyond me.

    To each their own.

It disgusts me every time I see him in a Rockets uniform. I guess I was just brought up being taught to respect people though. Which may be why I vehemently hate the guy - because he has none for others.
