Beggars can’t be choosers. 2-2nd round picks, who cares. Earl might be a decent role playing big at some point. Decent numbers playing about 20 mins for Thunder. Oladipo is a good defensive player if healthy. He is no worse than Bullock or Green in my opinion if they keep him for salary matching purposes.
Good move. Could not have expected more than what we got. Dipo is injured so he will not play here, we can use his contract in a deal if we find one. Robinson-Earl is a young backup C/PF we can take a look at this year and move on from if it doesnt work. KPJs money is off the payroll and he is no longer our problem. Getting Robinson-Earl for 2 rnd picks is like drafting him with a 2ND round pick to take a look and see if he can develop into a serviceable backup. Throw him out there and see what he can do.
Some guys just - no matter what - can’t say no to the little voice in their head that says, “That b**** need to be taught a lesson for disrespecting me!”
Finally. Credit to Tillman and Stone for pulling the trigger, even if they had to be forced kicking and screaming.
Hence the “The Thunder will waive Porter immediately” part of the announcements. Letting everyone know they’re not at all interested in keeping him.
Honestly, Holiday, Oladipo, Bullock, Uncle Jeff, and Robinson-Earl is a better bench than we had last year... and those guys might end up being the third string/garbage time unit. Ridiculous how much deeper we are now. Good riddance honcho.
I thought that he wasn't allowed to be waived while the investigation was ongoing. Is that correct, or did I miss something?
It’s not a coincidence that this happened the morning after the court hearing. Stone and Presti probably agreed to this a couple of weeks ago, but had to wait until they were allowed by the league to do it.
Jae'Sean 7mill Landale 8mill Oladipo 9mill 4.5 million dollar exception Victor won't be ready to play til January so it would be best to trade him before he could get hurt again. Bait the hook And wait....
