Throw a chair and you're white, all is forgiven....but throw a burrito 2 feet
over someone's head and you're black....."off with your head!"

It really is sad the amount of people clamoring for Bobby Knight to be out starting PG.

I'm hoping for a strong season from KPJ this year, especially if he's coming off the bench. If Green/Sengun have a breakout year alongside having more competent vets on the squad, KPJ coming out strong (I think he's of an age now where he's not likely to jump up as much as the other youngsters but is more likely to improve at a steady rate until his prime in a couple years) is much better for the team than if he comes out the same or regresses.

Our current head coach (who is black) ****ed the wife of a prominent Celtics figurehead and got an even better gig a year later.

When you're talented it doesn't matter.

FVV is not a PG either he is an overpriced undersized combo guard who is slightly better at protecting the ball and playing D.......

    That's it....

He is a worse shooter, and I for one think if you took KPJ and put him in Toronto last year and FVV under Silas we would be reversing this talk, FVV would have stunk here.....he can't get by my dead grandmother on the dribble.

There's some fake rumor going around that KPJ might be traded to the Lakers for "Jarred Vanderbilt, Jalen Hood-Schifino, Max Christie, and two second round picks". That would be a good value but I don't see how those players fit into our current team. I do like Vanderbilt as a backup guy in the frontcourt, but Tari might already be a better player, and almost certainly has a brighter future.

    I completely believe this.

    VanVleet can get his shot off from 3 (if others on the perimeter draw attention);
But being 5'11" will always be a poor FG% as a smallish player going in the
paint among the trees. This is why he has to put up circus shots half the time.

Only hope on his drives being successful for higher FG% on drives
is by having good 3-pt shooters along the perimeter. Toronto had
better 3-pt shooters last year. Raps were 27th in 3's while the
Rockets were 30th. KPj would've benefited from Anunoby and
Trent jr being on the court. Assists would have been higher.

    -----

All of those 6'8"mobile, long wingspans players on the Raptors,
Nick Nurse throws a lot of zone defenses, combine to make
VanVleet look like a greater defender. That and they were trying
to get good playoff seeding while the Rockets were tanking
    for Wemby.

Udoka not being the Celtics has nothing to do with him being African American. He made stupid decisions and cost himself his job.

I'm saying a black man would rather be the Rockets coach vs the Celtics coach.

I think more than likely he will be traded, he is a hedge against Green not developing enough - and/or FVV sucking - but with Amen here, there is a redundancy - so the Rox should try to simplify the game for him, highlight his strengths and prop up his numbers by overplaying him early and build his value to trade him for something the team needs.

I just don't see him fully accepting a backup role, when I believe he feels he is better than some of the starters - particularly Brooks and Green.....

And yes, this is me, guessing and projecting - it could be that he is happy....

Another GM could probably get good value for KPJ.

However Stone will find a way to give Kpj, 1st round picks and Amen in the deal for Myles Turner.

Remember when we thought KPJ would turn into the next Harden? That didn't happen, instead, Harden turned into KPJ. Belligerent and a cancer to the team.
