    that is insane

1st in total turnovers, and 22nd in total assists…30th in potential assists a game

for a guy that is 8th in the entire league in time of possession

    Bro, what are we doing?

Have you figured out inefficiency and turnover prone are two different things yet?

Hope the league doesn't fine us for obvious tanking. KPJ and Nix, co-commanders.

Lieutenant Porter and General Chips, both out there clueless making a mockery of the PG position

Chips has an astonishing 28% turnover rate…KPJ meanwhile is what happens when someone with mediocre talent patterns their game after James Harden and is made PG because they have the best handles on the team

This is exactly what most of us are saying. Let's see what TyTy can do. What do we have to lose? We've already seen enough of KPJ at the 1. Yes, every player has weaknesses. And KPJ's weaknesses are precisely what you don't want to see in a primary playmaker. The experiment has a negative result. Let's try something else. TyTy may or may not work out (although I believe he will). If he doesn't, it's not going to be any worse than what we are doing. We can then focus on getting a vet PG in the offseason.

I love us giving this young man a shot but if you don't watch the games you can't say it's just a narrative. The criticism is a bit harsh but he is some teams 2 guard not a point on a winning team. Not only the turnovers but the missed passes and dribbling into traffic. I want him to be successful and I'm happy he got the bag but PG ain't for him.

I would love to see TyTy get major minutes. If Stone wants us to tank, though, he can’t be happy, despite Porter’s terrible numbers as a point guard. This is from the latest CBS Sports NBA Power Rankings. Apparently they can “see us.” They managed not to “see” KPJ enough to mention him. (to be fair, these are a short synopsis).

    #25 (up one spot)

OK Rockets, we see you. Houston started off the week with home wins over the Bucks and Suns, and followed that up with a three-point loss to the Heat. In the last two weeks, the Rockets have now beaten the 76ers, the Bucks and the Suns twice -- some signature wins for an extremely young group. Jalen Green averaged 26 points for the week, but most impressive were his 7.3 free throw attempts per game, including 12 against the Suns. Part of his evolution is to figure out how to get his points even when his shot isn't falling. Rookie Jabari Smith Jr. didn't shoot as well as he has been, but he still nearly averaged a double-double with 11.7 points and 9.7 rebounds per game.

    NO NO NO

you asked what do we have to lose. Draft stats

Silas, Porter & Nix ALL HAVE PURPOSE!

Just because you see NOW doesn’t mean it needs to change. Enjoy knowing a little something. Watching the games with your newly found thoughts becomes a lot easier. The team is starting to overcome the lack of direction from the point guard position. When we get one the team should really be in a perfect position to start winning at higher rate. This is a lot better than an average vet pulling the team along. The method is unconventional but should work. PLUS it helps us in the draft, too.

Shhh. I truly don’t think Porter & Nix know. That is truly the saddest part of the season. They are both being USED.

@DaDakota do Efficiency (PER) rankings tell the whole story?

I am kind of flip-flopping between thinking they are very smart and thinking they are very dumb.

It really is a shame that PER is named what it is. Player efficiency rating. Because it really has very little to do with efficiency in the same sense as to what people are referring to when they talk about how efficient a player is.

I get that thought. Personally I usually look at shooting selection, percentage, on-ball decision making, AST to TO, attitude and effort on both ends to determine efficiency. Also called the eye test backed up by numbers. Unfortunately that's not a thing.

At this point, it seems like the Rockets fanbase is as toxic and dumb as the Yankees fanbase.

It's pretty much a lost cause.

Efficiency down, assists down, turnovers up. Fans who think he sucks are the lost cause. Classic

Yeah, that is a good example of feeble minded analysis which is part of the problem.

Whining about one of the best players on the team as the team starts to perform better is exactly the kind of thing is expect from the GARM these days.
