How far below the LT threshold are the Rockets? He played PG in high school and has actually started a few games at PG in the NBA due to injuries. I'd throw KJ in for Dunleavy, but I'd wait until the trade deadline. Need to monitor his progress and to see if KJ's conract is needed for a more important deal.
Maury treats PLAYERS like ASSETS dude... don't you get it???!!? players HATE that and don't RESPECT MAURY bc he treats them like ASSETS and not HUMAN BEINGS with FEELINGS. DOWN WITH MURRAY!!! - DD
Do these people's faces show up huge for anyone else or just me (/mobile)? Let's not post Stein's large face everywhere pls.
Honestly, I'm so shocked we didn't better whatever Cleveland had to offer that now I think maybe the strategy is wait and hope someone better becomes available in trade closer to the deadline. We only have assets like a pick and room to make one trade, as little value as those assets are and as minor as the trade is going to be.
That's a strategy that we normally take and end up with guys that are scrubs. I absolutely would have offered a 2019 freaking 1st round pick.
Well, there goes another blown opportunity to add depth to this team. Rich get richer on that deal. I'm sure Millsap will go to another contender and make the rest of the league that much weaker. Most likely Toronto.
I absolutely agree. Should have mentioned that. But yeah like I said I'm so shocked that I have to believe that's what Morey is thinking. I don't like it but oh well, at least he stayed in the East rather than a team we are competing against.
Damn the Hawks were one of the better teams in the weak Eastern Conference...Did the Dwight FA-signing already cause the Hawks to blow their team up? Spoiler sorry, I just had to...
KJ can't be any worse an asset than Dunleavy at this point right? Wonder why we didn't jump in on this?
Does anyone else think that Lebron is going to get a serious reality check when he retires? I mean he has so much influence while he plays but he might lose it all after it leaves.
I believe CAVS threw in a future 1st rounder to go along with Dunlevy and a 3rd team TBA, however if the "3rd team" doesn't present itself than the trade cannot happen. A 3rd team MUST be willing to join the convo in order for any of this to go down which I'm sure it will but it's all in the hands of any other team willing to jump into the trade talks Andy I believe that team is Portland.
The current report is that if they can't find a 3rd team, the Hawks are fine to just hold onto Dunleavy.
In the 14-15 season, the Hawks posted a franchise record of 60-22. All 5 starters made to the ASG. Now, Korver will be the 4th starters to leave the team. The other 3 being : Carroll, DeMarre Teague, Jeff Horford, Al All of them are having worse season than their days in the Hawks since joined their new teams. Yes, they don't have Lebron as their teammates, but they are not playing in the Knicks nor the Nets either. Sure, that's one of the most fluky season in the NBA history for the Hawks. But that also gives you a hint that certain systems really can glorify the value of some solid role players.
