Tre would be amazing but I think most have him at 5-6.

I see Tre Johnson is virtually a lock for the #5 pick. But that according to several of the Mock drafts I’ve seen. Of course every GM has their own grades.

If the rockets have conviction on Kon or Tre they need to move up and get him. An elite shooter at the 2 on a rookie scale contract would help us.

Most mocks have Tre Johnson around 4/5/6, Utah at 5 especially seems most common.

I don't love Tre Johnson's general archtype, and statistically he has a lot of the big red flags like basically doing nothing but get buckets and also not drawing fouls etc. But the obvious counter argument is that he also did this as a young freshmen and most of less then ideal comps were not one and dones. (even the better comps aren't one and dones.)

Sometimes its really hard to project these guys since many of them their roles just won't be the same in the NBA as it was in college, especially 2 guards this is often the case.

Kon is the perfect complementary player for SA....

We do not want this to happen. Let some s**t team in the East take him.

    That's what I'm hoping for.

Kon is my #1 guy I want that is projected within our range.

Did you watch any of UT's games last year? Because I watched too many of them.

He was the only guy on the floor who could halfcourt score at most every other trip down the entire season (the 5th year transfer F when he could play was great too, can't remember his name), so he did what he had to do, which was score points.

He can play in any system, his defense is totally underrated (coach teached pretty solid defensive principles). He's not a chucker or a ballhog. The times when UT had their whole healthy team together he/they destroyed the SEC.

Led the SEC in scoring as a freshman, that's a little bit hard to do.

I’m all in on both Tre and Kon. I’d love it if we’d move up to get one of them. They are both going to be really really good nba players and they have the elite shooting skillset we need.

I'm actually glad the Spurs got the #2 pick (unless they get smart and trade down a bit). Either of those guys would be perfect for them. Assholes.

Although, if I'm SA at 2 Edgecomb would start to look really interesting. Then take a PF/C or a shooter with their next pick (14?)

oddly I think Kon would be amazing on San Antonio. I’m higher on Kon than most. I think he can be an allstar. I want him badly on Houston. Reason why I like him more than Tre is that he’s a better passer, better defender, better driver to the rim. He just does all the other things better. And they are close to a wash on the shooting.

Spurs aren't drafting Kon/Tre at #2, was my point. Agreed that Kon would be frustratingly great on that team.

They’re going to trade the 10th pick.

My prediction is they'll either trade it or they won't
