Especially given the knock on Cam was always his poor shot selection and a tendency to get tunnel vision. He did better than I expected as a rookie.

Like all our players I believe in Cam and hope he can become successful in this league. But the bias and knee jerk reactions are incredibly ridiculous especially when these people can empathize with certain players while demonizing others. This shows a perception bias. And what’s incredibly more ridiculous is many of these people base their arguments solely on stats and metrics but yet try to find other explanations to support their argument in the face of stats lol. Again it shows you how stupid these people are.

You cited per 100 which is a normalized metric and 1 measurement. Once again you have absolutely no idea what you’re talking about. Lol thats why there’s no need for me to explain anything to you but yet you keep responding to my posts wanting to get in a dumb ass argument with you lol

Stay on that side Alperen doubters!

Was awfully quiet in here when he pounded Wemby into an alien. :D

... yes I cited normalized numbers to show that while Cam didn't get the opportunity to play that your favorite chucker did, he was better on the court when he was out there.... you know, exactly what I said.

That's one of the things those numbers are used for.

I don't know why I have to spell out such obvious things to you.

Again, for you given your shortcomings, probably.

Though you haven't even attempted to argue what you foolishly think you think.

I didn’t suggest Smart & Brooks were clones. I said they are duplicative. A team can flourish with one but drown with two.

They’re NOT Jrue & DWhite. Bring in MS? Ship out DB.

Alpi getting some minutes feels doable, liked by coaching staff and utilized situationally.

IMO Alpi will compete wherever/however he’s deployed on court.

He was a + in 34 games. He definitely has to improve his efficiency, but that's not dog••••. Has to improve his shot selection and HAS to be more disciplined and know if he's off, to not continue to jack them up. With his ability to get by people and get to the hole, he just needs to be more aggressive and attack. Get to the line. Hit some mids. Work your way back into rhythm.

Oh and I'm not worried about Cam.

    Was just digging.

I wish I had your optimism despite all evidence to the contrary. After 3 years of awful, I just don't see the upside

How are Brooks and Smart duplicative when they don’t play the same position? Their skillset are vastly different as I mentioned Smart’s playmaking and ability to keep offense flow going in half court sets. Smart likely will be a 6th man replacing Holliday or maybe the Rockets have plans to move FVV.

Situationally how? Can you explain what this means? As I mentioned most 4s in the league are smaller and quicker or have stretch ability. I can’t think of a slow or bigger 4 without stretch ability in this league. How would that benefit our offense? Why would you play Sengun at this position and who would you put at 5?

their main attributes, their main appeal to Ime et al is setting a, no - setting the mental parts of competing, playing D, focusing.

It’s painfully obvious that Amen must learn to shoot ‘ok’-enuff to stay on the court. SHOOTERS make him much more viable. But, Smart and Brooks? Who gets listened to, responded to if both are rostered? And, for goodness sakes, how many bricks can be allowed on one court at one time?

No, gimme either. Don’t gimme both.

Situational? Cs are champs because they dominated situations, forced Mavs and those along the run, to adapt to the situations they created. And whenever Mavs tried to force Celtics into responding to them Cs, instead, turned the table on them.

The facts are the facts my guy. 3 years in and the Rockets shooting guard is still one of the worst shooters in the entire league... and funny enough offense is the closest thing he has to something he's good at.

There's just no way to sugar coat that, the guy is absolutely terrible at basketball.... but I'm happy a few of you keep on believing despite it all.

I get it. Wasn't being a Smart•••. Just know where you stand. It's not always easy to remain optimistic. Some do not have the patience to see things through. Watch them grow.

He definitely had some rough nights shooting this year, but his overall game definitely improved and I AM optimistic that he'll be even better this year.

That's maybe my second favourite Rockets moment from the last few years after the game where we spanked ATL for patting heads and being cocky. I actually hope that continues to be the case, I don't often dislike players on a personal level but I REALLY do not like Wemby. That draft lottery moment really turned me against him.

The Hornets allegedly want to move up to 3.
Mark Williams plus the 6th makes sense to me, if Castle is still there. I think Sheppard and Castle will be gone by 5 though. No to Clingan please.
The injuries to Topic and Dillingham have weakened this draft class even further.

PS: I forgot that Mark Williams is out with a lingering back " contusion ". LaMelo plays hurt, we don't need him either. The Hornets don't have any other player that interests me. Miller isn't going anywhere.
