I don't see where he's lost a step. It's all in his head.

What a load of garbage....he is 27 years old, he just needs to reach down and pull the underwear out of his vagina and play ball.

I'm pretty sure if you told him that he would tell you that it's not that easy...

He himself told the world in an interview that he is broken down now and is going to retire after his contract. Watching him play, I agree with him. I sincerely hope I am wrong.

Yao still dosent have that born to kill instinct aura kobe posses. maybe in a couple of years but not yet. only person who posses that " aura" is wade. when wade starts attacking the rim, noone or nothing will get in his way.kids a warrior. not as talented as kobe or tracy, but he has a ton of heart.

This is part of Tmac's problem, he is mentally weak. He is out there thinking about how his athleticism has waned, when in reality it is probably pretty much the same, but his attitude about it is what has changed.

If you aim low, you will acheive low....

    Umm...no.

I love 111, but both our guys lack consistent energy, tenacity and just play plain 'uninspired' most of the time, even when they put up nice numbers (scoring, rebounding, assists, etc).

None of our guys has that 'look' in their eyes, it's not a coincidence that this team has countless nights where they just cruise and play "uninspired", as JVG would say.

JVG notices that too, and he says it almost every other game. He told Kenny Smith once that he had to put "dogs" around Yao and McGrady, because both guys lack that intensity and leadership quality that inspires their teammates.

Perhaps more than ever, the Rockets need a Mario Elie, a Sam Cassell, a Vernon Maxwell, and a Robert Horry that would keep a fire lit under our two star players at all times. Sura and MJ were those types of players, and now they're injured or altogether gone from the team.

T-Mac, Yao, Battier...we're assembling a team of boy scouts, a bunch of wholesome boys, not a team that can withstand the storms of an NBA season/playoff run and come out on top. These guys would happily drown...

I agree, we need competitors, but Robert Horry? He is NOT a fiery guy....he is a silent assasin.

I dont like where the Rox give T-Mac the ball on most occassion. Most times he 25 ft from the basket instead of 12ft. I would like to see him get the ballinside the 3pt line actually ft line extended or mid post and see what happens from there. in this league its hard to beat someone from 30 ft and make it to the basket.

the two games before kobe destroyed the jazz he looked very 06 mcgrady-like. i read these posts like he puts up 50 every single night. he doesn't and for the most part prior to that game he didn't look like he did last year. now he may have found himself and turned the corner but i also believe it's still possible t-mac does the same.

it may be wishful thinking but i think his shooting problems are entirely fixable and not at all due to losing a step.

When great players lose a step physically, they change their games accordingly.

    Period.

Tracy needs to step it up, at LEAST in the 4th quarter so we don't lose leads.

my post was implicating tmac as a lazy ******** because at least when yao gets the ball you can tell that he actualyl wants to score...tracy looks bored, lazy, etc....too bad=[

First of all, he never said for sure if he was gonna retire. Secondly, if DaDa told him that, the guy with the "vagina" would knock him out.
