Maybe he is the best INDIVIDUAL player. But if he keeps playing like that, Lakers won't go far in the playoffs. It is a TEAM sports, you have to get your teamates involved. I guess because Kobe already has 3 rings, he HAS to play it his way to win, otherwise it is meaningless for him even if they win a championship..

I'm sure Odom is just feeling blessed to win the game. Kobe just dished to him and Odom knocked down a three. he looks happy to me.

I HATE everything about Kobe Bryant except his basketball ability. In that category the guy is a freaking God. Can't deny that no matter how much I can't stand him.

Yeah, no question Kobe will fulfill his dream of winning the scoring title. No one will question's Kobe scoring abilities. He can probably beat the Raptors by himself.

But I like LeBron, he's the real deal.

    FYI

Kobe just passed up David Thompson's record of 73, which was the 3rd best

Wilt has the 2nd most in a game with 78 ...I think thats a gonner too

Kobe should end up #2 on the all time list behind Wilt's 100

I totally agreed. But hell, other than Kobe, who's going to score for the Lakers? Luke Walton, so he can brick a three????

There's no choice for the Lakers, if Kobe is not on this team, and play the way he is playing right now, Lakers would lose every game, don't even mention that they're in the playoff run now.

True. Exactly like the rockets and Tmac. In the NBA, one player can make that big of a difference.

you realize they are winning the game by double digits and he's still in the game.
also its against the worst team in the league.
kobe's ego is bigger than his skills.

Well, I don't think they utilize Odom's ability enough. Not saying Odom has the same calibre as Pippen, but Kobe and him have the potential to become the Jordan-Pippen of this Lakers team. At least offense wise.
