I was kind of ticked that the refs didn't T him up. If it was anyone other than Battier, they would have pushed back, and it would be a double technical. But when Shane does the right thing and just walks away, the Lakers don't get penalized for it.
Be like the rockets.. suck it up and cheer. If you're wondering why Kobe didn't get punished.. I have 3 words for you: Money, Money, Money!!
Kobe is a little psy. If you're going to start ****, at least do it to someone's face, not kick them while they're down.
I couldn't believe Shane acted as cool about it as he did. I would have went Crazy Pills on that b****. The thing is, Kobe is so damn good, why does even feel the need to be a jackass and do things like that
It might have been mentioned elsewhere, but did anyone see Fisher's cheap shot on Barry? When Barry fouled Fisher on a breakaway and the fell, Fisher drove his arm into Barry's head on the way down, so when they landed it was like a forarm/puch to barrys head. . barry jumped up and was telling the ref to watch what Fish did to him on the replay and after rewinding it, you could see it very clearly.
he's talented but james never pulls that crap, lakers have always been dirty,he's just mad cuz battier made him look bad.
if you send in a video the league will look at it and say thats kobe we didnt se anything. remember people think he is the basketball god so why suspend him.
What is the league's typical way of handling a situation such as this, where the refs clearly whiffed on the call during the game? Is there a standard review process where this would be picked up? In my view, this knee and elbow action is the equivalent of a couple of punches. Clearly the intent is the same. Is there any precedent for the league stepping in and punishing a player after the fact? Justice would probably be a 1 game suspension.
shocked ....i never thought a player the league has been promoting has done something so dirty and disgraceful.... Mr.81, this is exactly why you will always be a loser without shaq.... fxxking ex-raping convict
I remember Kobe was suspended on two different occasions a couple seasons ago for flailing his arms and striking another player in the face (Ginobili one game, Jaric in another). Here, he was clearly intent on forcing contact with Battier's head. There is justification for a suspension, but I highly doubt the NBA goes through with it. It's Kobe, and its the playoffs.
