Six championships that didn't involve strategically teaming up with two other max players. I really think lebron has the physical tools and ability to possibly be the best ever but the whole Big 3 deal always makes me respect him less.
That Bulls team without Jordan was better than this Miami team without Lebron, how they formed is just a difference between player and front office.
They went 55-27 and nearly beat the Knicks in the semis. I don't think this Heat team can withstand losing James for prolonged periods of time. You have to take into account an injury-prone Wade + Bosh.
To be fair, after Jordan left, the Bulls acquired a bunch of new rotational players, most notably Kukoc. The 2013 Heat without James are much better than the 1993 Bulls without Jordan.
We are talking about rosters, not injuries. The east was terrible that year. The west had all of the dominant teams
I remembered I'd seen coach nick do a break down on mj and kobe a cpl years ago that shows the differences between kobe and mj I have no idea how to youtube embed here, lol http://youtu.be/kmK1R17QpJU <iframe width="640" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/kmK1R17QpJU" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Fact : MJ >>> Kobe Having stated the obvious, the amount of disdain that Kobe is receiving is unwarranted! I dislike Kobe just as much anyone else, first for being a "FAKER" but especially for his immoral behavior with that girl in Colorado! I don't think Kobe's basketball IQ, athletic ability, desire to win or even his relationship with his teammates to be greatly inferior to Jordan's. It's just that we all were in awe of Michael! It doesn't matter what the numbers prove or disprove, there is only one Jordan who will often be imitated but never duplicated. Silly rabbit trix are for kids! .......... .......... ..........
I'm sure LeBron would have stayed a Cav if they were able to land players like Pippen and Grant in 1 draft.
Pure stupidity. Jordan's teams were legendary Sometimes people's hatred for Kobe over clouds their ability to use common sense
finally Phil..bout time he shut these kobe kids up. He couldn't say it b4 bc he had to coach kobe, and now he prob realizes he will never coach him again so he can finally speak truth.
Quoting this from earlier in the thread. I'm actually one that enjoyed Kobe's game through most of his prime years (06-10) -- but I just think he's a notch below MJ. It's not a slight to Kobe, that's just how great Jordan was.
