When the Lakers traded Shaq and they didn't have as much talent, I vividly recall games when Kobe quit in the 4th quarter (against Phoenix he didn't take a shot the whole quarter), not just that but he cried about wanting to be traded. I can't blame T-Mac for any of the play-off failures. The stats prove it!! The Rockets problem is and will continue to be, they are trying to win with shorter, less talented players and in the play-offs it catches up with you. In 05' against Dallas, Juwan Howard got hurt and 6' 1" David Wesley was trying to guard 6'6" Jerry Stackhouse, he killed him on the block. In 06', against Utah Luther Head, Juwan Howard, nor anyone else could hit a shot. The Jazz wore T-mac and Yao out, the Rockets simply DID NOT HAVE A BENCH!!! And last year, well everybody was hurt outside of T-MAC, but T-Mac was hurt then too and he still carried the team.

Don't get me wrong, I think Kobe is better than Tracy, but not by much. I just think he has had much better fortune than Tracy when it comes to placing talent around him. So go back and do your history before you start making commits that do not hold merrit!!!!!!!!

As I said in my previous tread, Kobe has quit before!! He quit against Phoenix in the 4th quater, in the 05' playoffs when he was trying to prove a point that the Lakers needed more talent. After that, he cried that he wanted to be traded, until they brought in some players with more talent. Don't get me wrong, I appauld the Laker's organization because they knew what they lacked and they went out and got it. That is why I don't fault Tracy, I fault the Rocket's organiztion, they still feel that you can win with short players. Chuck Hayes, Luther Head, and to a degree Scola, because he can't finish around the basket. In the play-offs, the game slows down. You have to rebound, you have to score in the paint. If you watch the Rockets over the last few years, they don't do that well in the play-offs, because they are too SHORT!! Outside of Tracy and Yao.

Carrying teams to the championship in the playoffs with injury 2000$ suits doesn't happen.
