    It is worse than what I said.

    Admitting you are gay shows that you are nontrustworthy. Which makes zero sense since admitting it is being honest.

    I mean seriously, if you were gay, which one would be more offensive to you?

    If you don't view this quote as homophobic, then you re-read it a few times.

    I think its difficult to read into. Lebron is not the most articulate person in the world, but I sensed that he felt betrayed- he said in the quote that everyone on the team to him is family. The idea that someone in his family would keep something that big from him, irrespective of the reason, made him feel like their relationship as a family was being undermined.

    I understand why Amaechi kept it quiet, but I can also understand why Lebron would feel upset that Amaechi didnt trust him or the rest of the team enough to tell them.

    As for Kobe's quote, although I found it reprehensible, I dont think it should have been fined. Public criticism and social pressure were sufficient.
