"Nobody's gonna carry a team like Kobe is doin now"? Hum...i guess t-mac was not carrying the Rox during those 30 games that yao missed, let's remember the rox won 50+ games with Yao out over 30 of them! In that stretch I believe T-mac averaged close to 30 PPG, over 6 assts and rbds as well!!!! Lebron did not lead a team filled with CBA talent to the finals either right? Only Kobe is doing great. People get so blinded by the points kobe puts up (recall t-mac's been there, done that) but fail to see his selfishness/lack of leadership/spoiled child attitude which he has had since coming into the league. He has enough talent to win more games and put up a better fight in the playoffs, he just lacks the right attitude. You put j. kidd/nash/t-mac/lebron on that laker team and I bet they win 10 + more games.

people say kobe can carry a team. just tell me how so?

tmac w/ a yao-less roster (can be VERY much comparable to LA) and he took them to a 20-12 record. kobe's lakers struggle w/ a .500 record throughout.

do people think kobe will give them 15 extra wins out of nowhere?

if tmac was on the lakers, the lakers will have exactly the same record IF NOT BETTER.

i know kobe's past as a winner of 3 championships so bring that up if u want to. but how has he carried the lakers the last 3 yrs? he has the best coach. he has a very good 2nd option that he doesn't use.

i think we acknowledge that. but people on here think that kobe is WORLDS APART from tracy, which is very blinded either by their hate towards tracy or their love for 50+ pt games from kobe b/c he chucks 30+ shots a night.

kobe's career right now is the SAME way how he started his career w/ orlando. scoring titles. all-nba teams. ESPN highlights. a lot of hype. but no wins.

granted tmac still hasn't won w/ houston but outside of 04-05, he's not fully healthy. he looks to be very healthy this year so we'll see how much he has left.

did i say that? i said odom is a SOLID 2nd option and could be an all-star if he actually can shoot the ball more than 10-11 times a game. u do know kobe can give up 5-6 shots to odom and still averages 22-23 shots a game right? but that's not the case.

kobe actually has a guy to share his responsibilities with. he just doesn't want to.

yes Kobe can win a playoff series with Shaq. Kobe hasn't done anything in the playoffs without the Diesel.

i just came across something interesting while reading a book.Jordan got tired in 4 th quarters of games. People on this board tend to say that t-mac is weak as he was tired at the end of game 7.but when you as the primary ball handler and the one that needs to create for others as well as score a lot of points ,it is normal that t-mac would be tired .hell Michael Jordan got tired in the fourth quarter when the bulls made him the playmaker during one year .if the best ever can get tired at the end of games ,it is stupid to think that t-mac will not get tired.Jvg should have realised that and take the ball off t-mac more but then again, there was no one who could create besides t-mac.But this is the year where he will play more off the ball and therefore should be fresh at the end of games. This is the year people

    MJ >> T-Mac

    That is all *grin*

Kobe IMO is Healthier . .in the Durable sense
    T-mac wears down over a season . . .
I think with the addition his 30+ minutes games should decrease
and 40+ minute games should not happen

    I would make this trade
Folx always want to say that In the TMAC for Francis
trade we got the better player

    How is this so different?
    get the better player

    Sorry, cuz it ain't gonna happen. Boozer/Deron, Dirk/Howard, Nash/Amare, Duncan/Parker, Dwight/Rashard, Lebron/Zydrunas, Wade/Shaq: I'd say all have a better shot than TMac/Yao this year.

Yao/Kobe >>>>>> any combo in the league

TMac gets tired in every 4th quarter in the playoffs, not just game 7. Where was he in Games 3 and 4? Where was he in the 4th quarter of Game 6? Why did he pick game 7 to get tired, and not game 2 instead? Tracy chokes. He doesn't get tired. He's a brokeback, 2nd year virgin. Case closed.
