It's true, RR. I mean, he had a real part to play in the departure of one of the best coaches (Phil) and one of the best big-men (Shaq) in the game's history. It will be fascinating to watch this season if he gets his "own team." I can't wait.
Apparently the Clippers have played games in Anaheim before so this isn't as outrageous as it sounds. Who else thinks that it would be the ultimate destiny for the Clippers to land Kobe after giving in to some ridiculous demands. And when they finally look like they have gotten over on the rival team in town, Kobe is found guilty and never plays a game for them.
I really want to see Kobe sign with the Clippers. That will accomplish two things I like. First, the Lakers will suck for a long time. Second, Kobe's career will take a nose dive. The Clippers are the NBA hell. Noone comes out of that franchise a winner. Kobe deserves h. . . MUHAHAHAHA. . .
Well, it's tough to beat that orange crush during rush hour I guess. I guess he would have to go 55 north then 5 north then 101 to the staples, that's hell of a ride. Actually, I dont mind Clip moving to the Pond, 'cause I live like 10 minutes away from it. If they do, I get to see Yao at least twice a season in person, awsome. There are talks that Clip wanting to move to the Pond anyways, right. I remember one weekend Staples had to change its floor to Lakers, then Kings, then to the Clips in less than 24 hours. That is crazy.
It makes more sense for Kobe to demand a helicopter and a landing pad if he really hates the LA traffic.
Looks like the Clippers were just dealt a serious blow: http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/columns/story?columnist=ford_chad&id=1839094
Was just watching Sportscenter, and Jim Gray reported that the Clippers have agreed to playing a portion of their games in Anaheim. Looks like they're gonna try and meet all of Kobe's demands.
Damn Val, tell us how you really feel. I can't wait for Kobe to "carry" his own team. He will be exposed next year. Mark my words.
