i wouldn't put all the blame on paxson and call him the dumbest GM...if you read the letter that gordon gund (the owner) posted on the cavaliers site, he said that he was the one that trusted boozer and decided to not pick up his option. i feel bad for gund because he seems like a really nice guy (you ever see that commercial he did with lebron for some eye disease research?) and he's blind...so that makes it even worse.

I want Lakers collapse, but on the other hand I don't want Kobe join Clippers either. Clippers with Kobe will be tough to beat, but Lakers with Kobe is still a level below us.

If kobe Signs with the Clippers expect a major riot to breakout in LA..can you imagine more people be going to watch the clipps then the lakers?. OMG . i cant fathom to imagine the distrust this will generate if it were to eventuate. kobe as a CLIPPER? HAHAS. all the laker bandawgon supporters will dissapear. i say it'l be a better world if kobe does go to the Clipps :D

kobe's argument for the lakers is: more money, more glamour and prestige, history of putting a winning product on the floor and thus better chance of adding to his ring collection and catching MJ (which is all he really wants).

against the lakers is: what do they have left after odom? thanks to grant's contract i don't believe they'll have any meaningful cap room until it expires and i think that's 2 or 3 years down the road.

for the clippers it is: brand is a better big man than anything the lakers have or may have in the near future and is still young. maggette is another very solid player to team with. possiblity of a better team next year (though odom playing like he did last year won't be so bad to team with) and in the future. history of putting a terrible team on the floor, if he wins big with them, he's like some sort of god and gets into MJ territory (which is all he really wants).

against the clippers is: history of putting a terrible team on the floor, can he really trust his legacy to donald sterling. winning big with the clips vaults him up several notches, if the clips F it up like usual, he's screwed. is the difference between getting the rings with the lakers or the clips that important? you'll still get praise out the ass for getting more rings no matter where you win them.

i can't decide what i want to happen. there are 3 big things in this for me: rudy, kobe, and the lakers.

for rudy's sake, i really hope kobe goes back to the lakers. i don't want him getting a piece of crap team.

for kobe, i want him to win more rings to catch mj. anything to knock mj down a notch is good in my book and kobe is the closest thing we've seen to mj and he's the only thing going that has enough built up hype to get to be put up there with mj. the clippers actually have a better team as it stands, but the lakers always seem to win so i think he should go back there. would be amazing anticipation to see what he could do for the clippers though, so i don't really care either way on this front.

as for the lakers, their demise would bring me great joy. if it wasn't for rudy being the coach, i'd be rooting for the clippers all the way. rudy would only have to put up with a few years of suckiness before being let go or just leaving and he wouldn't even get blamed because no one would expect someone to win after both shaq and kobe leave so that's a positive. a long term collapse of the lakers would be beautiful.

all that being said, my rooting for rudy takes precedence over the joy of a complete lakers collapse and thus i think i have to root for the lakers.

apparently we get to know around noon tomorrow according to jim gray.

Kobe is going to the Clips.

If not I lose all respect for him.

I'm thrilled to see him part ways from Shaq, I always hated him because he played on the same team as Shaqueer.

Actually, that might be the one reason to trust Sterling in this situation. Kobe would make him a lot of money.

Its also suppsedly been reported on LA radio that hes goin to the clips.

Wierd thing is that none of the laker boards reported this. I know its kind of sketch using info from the boards, but some of them with "inside" sources says he resigning with the lakers. Hopefully this kind of thing never happens with Yao and the rocketse. Id hate to imagine the same thing going here where Yao has to choose between two teams.

Man! I was hoping to see the Buss and Kupchak officially bite it. Oh well, unless they bring in a big man like Dampier, that roster will get them nowhere.

I don't honestly believe he raped her, what he did was wrong, which was adultery but I do feel that he can be forgiven for that.

Yes I greatly respect him as a player, ( the insane drive that he displays to be the best in the NBA), I just always thought it was unfair that I hated him by default because he was paired with Shaq.
