Point. However, if someone were to say to me, "someone found their estranged wife with another man, freaked out, and then killed her and the man", I would say "of course". If someone were to say to me, "young, attractive and soft spoken kamillionaire forces himself on an easily had 19 year old" I would be dubious, as I am now. Then again, I would never cheat on my wife, so I suppose that I can't really rationalize Bryant's mindset.
Vail is really losing it these days as a resort for the elite. I mean what has the world come to when multimillionaires can't even rape the help these days?
Like someone said earlier here: How can you not be sympathetic with a daterapist? If you´re led on you have a right to rape!
Ummm... physical evidence is the primary evidence that criminal cases are determined by. Other evidence (motive, etc) set the stage but it is physical evidence that either proves (or fails to prove) guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. If the blood underneath the fingernails thing is true & it turns out to be Kobe's (and believe me if she really went to the hospital that night they will have taken a sample) he's in very serious trouble.
I saw on Fox News the other night that Colorado laws on this are much different than most states. All the girl had to do was believe that she was in peril if she didn't comply. No real force is necessary. According to that report this all happened within 1:30 of his arriving at the lodge. Thought: if all she wants is money why did she go to the DA and file criminal charges, even though it was the next day. She could have gone to the Lakers, they probably would have paid gladly to make it go away. Smells pretty bad for Kobe to me.
Man, ron413's thread is getting beat 91 replies to zero. Someone really needs to show mercy on him and close it.
He did, because he can. His wife will be the first to tell you that he is the most wonderful person in the world.
