How much zone did Dallas play when they won the title? What big man has he EVER dominated defensively?

    Watch a game. Please.

Why are you ignoring the defensive liability that they'd present? Even if 2012 ran an offense that shot 50% from the field as a team, how well do you think 1992 would shoot since Paul/Williams/Westbrook wouldn't be able to effectively guard anyone? 65%? 70%?

    That's a net negative effect.

My previous post fully admits that both teams with their PG lineups would present unavoidable defensive liabilities and obvious offensive advantages. You are totally correct that Paul, Williams, and Westbrook cant stop Magic, Stockton is a different story. And neither Magic or Stockton could stop any of the 3 2012 PGs just mentioned.

Tyson Chandler going up David Robinson and Patrick Ewing hahha

ESPN is doing a terrible disservice to the younger NBA Fans out there, ESPN always goes out of their way to **** on the legends of the past.

Here are just some of the dumb quotes by ESPN in the past year. haha

"KOBE WILL GO DOWN AS THE GREATEST LAKER EVER"
" DIRK NOWITIZKI IS ON LARRY BIRD'S LEVEL"
" KOBE BRYANT IS A BETTER DEFENDER, AND A BETTER ALL-AROUND PLAYER THAN LEBRON JAMES"
" LEPRINCE JAMES SHRINKS IN THE SPOTLIGHT"

    ESPN is terrible

How about if the Dream Team wasn't adding players just for sentimentality and namesake? And Dream was legal 9 months early?

    Stockton/ Isaiah/

    MJ/ Mullin

    Pippen/ Drexler / Nique

    Barkley/ Malone

    Dream/ Shaq / Robinson

Yeah, who am I kidding. 92 would kill '12. I tried my best to have a dream , a dream for a modern dream team, and chase that butterfly, but it's just not happening and I have to be true to myself. True to the streets, and true to the integrity of basketball over the past 2 decades.

MY BAD GUYS. LET'S WRAP THIS ONE UP. TAKE IT FROM THE TOP. CLOSE THE THREAD. STOP DEBATING r****dATION.

    Who is he kidding?

Jordan would beat them by himself if Ditka drove the bus.

Yeah, because he did so much by himself - Never had winning season without Pippen, 1-9 in playoffs and was swept twice.

I'm going with the original. When you look at their games, they were in cruise control.
I'm sure if the level of competitions rises, they would lift several gears and still win.

This would be an entertaining game with match-ups galore.

    Magic v Williams
    MJ v Kobe
    Drob v Chandler
    Pip v Durant
    CB v LBJ

Great answer. And I like how he qualified it with a "probably". Always a competitor...
