Wait, hold on. I'm not a jersey guy, but you guys wear other team's gear? Seriously? Right now my second favorite team is the Milwaukee Bucks, but I'd never wear anything of theirs. About the closest thing I might do is wear a Rockies hat (I'm a Mariners fan), but only because they're the "hometown" team and because they're an NL team. This confuses me.
it's not just you. though it was fashionable to wear jerseys of other teams besides your favorite in the early 90's i guess. this is not then, though i will admit... one time I wore an Arenas jersey (got it for free as a giveaway at a game) when I went to see Mavs @ Wiz... cause.. screw the Mavs.
i can understand how the successful teams have a lot of fans show up to their road games but thats just how it will always be. people like to root for winners. i just reserve judgment on classifying all the laker fans (or road team fans) at TC as being bandwagoners because you dont know their level of fandom...granted amongst teams like the cavs, lakers, celtics etc there is a large portion of fans who are only following the team because of 1 player or that they are doing well i find it wrong to say 9/10 are like that. especially for a team like the lakers who has a long history of winniing. not saying lakers fans are great far from it but just saying shouldnt say what they will do when kobe is gone etc... (sorry i have been called bandwagon a lot myself from a lot of ppl during the championship years and after we got Yao and then tmac so its a sore spot for me)
I understand where you're coming from. There's no doubting your fandom on this site. Much respect to you. IMO If you were a bandwagon then you definitely would have jumped off this year. My post was directed only to the people who aren't there through the thick and thin. If you were still here through --- Tim Breaux, Mark Bryant, Bryce Drew, Sam Mack. Then you should be entitled to Yao/Tmac now Yao/Brooks/Martin.
