Back when McGrady was "better" than Kobe.

I know it's just a bunch of what ifs but if Tmac and Yao never went down with injuries, 2009 world champions would be the Houston Rockets easily.

    Tracy's toughest opponent: The Rim.

I don't care what anyone says, ALL of the teams T-Mac faced in the playoffs were always better than his team (both the Magic and Rockets).

No. Just no. We should've never squandered a 2-0 lead against Dallas. Sure the refs screwed us but we were definitely better than them. We were also better than the Jazz the year Okur and Boozer schooled Yao.

Well yeah... didn't say he was bad on D, just that Kobe was better on D.

Kobe knows he is done. Of course he is going to diminish (by omission) the true threats to his legacy among his contemporaries.

Having said that, Tmac was, in my opinion, the most physically gifted wing player the game has ever seen. His athleticism and natural ability as a total package surpassed Lebron, MJ and certainly Kobe. Of course, we all know that without durability and the heart of a champion, that isn't worth much in the end.

    Too bad.

The Jazz were a terrible matchup for what you mentioned.

It's reasonable to infer that. However:

    1. IMO Wade really isn't that close to Kobe's level, and probably won't ever get there.

    2. LeBron does match up with Kobe. He's had opportunities, but for some reason never opted to guard/go at Kobe for an extended period of time.
