Kobe, LeBron, and Melo all on one team together....

    It's possible the same way it's possible that I will marry Beyonce. Sure, she could divorce Jay-Z and decide to date a middle income white dude in his late 30's from her hometown - but the chances are more than a little slim.

    But really, it's probably even less likely. Because Lebron is competing against Kobe's legacy. He would NEVER help Kobe get more rings.

    I can't really even see Melo going to LA. Even without major playoff success in NY, his jersey could end up hanging from the rafters in Madison Square Garden if he retires a Knick. That is an awful lot to walk away from. Especially when, unless they can find another younger high impact star, the Lakers won't be any more likely to go deep into the playoffs than the Knicks with an aging Kobe and Pau.
