    Not only that, I believe any team, other than the Rockets, can only give him 6 years, whereas we can give him 7 years.

    It'll be curious to see how the new CBA impacts Yao's rookie class. Yao can sign his extension later in the offseason, but there will be a new CBA by then- they could grandfather these guys under the old rules, or they could apply a whole new set of rules to them- perhaps to our benefit, or to our dismay.

    it was late...I put that bit about the 7 years in the wrong place.. ;)

    good points NIKE...I'll be very curious to see how that works out...kinda like when they instituted the new max contract rules and some players were grandfathered...

    No way Patrick Ewing could've helped Yao. Patrick Ewing only hinders Yao. We all know that. P-Ew sucks. So does JVG. And umm... CD... wait, is today Monday? Then ok, CD doesn't suck. :mad:
