David Stern is crazy for not having a 1-on-1 contest for the All-Star event. Everyone would turn in to watch that.
And yet, though James scores "more than he wants to," he shoots a better percentage, gets more assists, and shoots less times per game. Now you're just spewing whatever comes to your head. Are you implying lebron's teammates get assists for lebron through their own talent? It's Lebron who's putting in most of the work for those assists. He has had to spoon feed his teammates most of his career because they aren't very good on their own. Kobe's teammates have actual individual skills, AKA "more talented", so they don't need to be assisted, which is why Kobe would have less assists.[/QUOTE]
man these guys slurp durant like crazy. he would get manhandled in a 1-on-1 contest w/ lebron or kobe. destroyed.
Who cares? Basketball is a team sport so who the hell cares? I'd rather have Durant than Kobe and what?
No way. I'd rather have Kobe than Durant any day of the week. His killer instinct is in a class of it's own.
I know, But I guess people take it too seriously. None of the will ever play 1 on 1 against each other. And as for Kobe - Durant comparision right now. Bryant is a 31-year old injured player, who has a lot of miles on his legs. On the other hand Durant is great and is young and he can easily do the things Kobe has done. Will he do them? We don't know. But RIGHT NOW, you gotta take Durant.
Lebron would kill Kobe in the post. You guys can root for Kobe & the Lakers against the Heat when they play. There's no way in hell that I will.

What part of "team setting" do you not understand? It's a ONE ON ONE competition we're talking about here. If you can't understand how stats and play within a team doesnt always translate to a one on one game, then i don't know what to tell you. I've already explained how the dynamics of the team game influence their scoring opportunities and how difficult or easy they are. When it comes to pure one on one basketball, the few times it truly happens in the NBA without the other distractions or inteferences, Kobe's clearly better. How about disputing that part instead of assuming nothing else i say is credible, since i made a mistake earlier? I guess it's a lot easier to assume everything else i say will also be wrong, than to actually try to disprove it
It seems like a lot of LBJ hate on this board lately. We would've be jizzing in our pants if he chose the Rockets.
Lol. I would probably call all my non-rockets friends to gloat, but then they would point out how I don't like LeBron...and I would end up looking like this
