This is a stupid what if situation, but in an alternate Watchmen like universe, it would be the equivalent of us getting Dr Manhattan.

Plus getting Kobe would finally prove to the stubborn and delusional Tmac fans that Kobe is much better than him. Getting to the Finals would be automatic and Kobe could take any team Tmac played on, even in high school to the top.

The difference is mentality. In both universes Kobe is still the MVP so that doesn't change.

Someone needs to ban Shaud, lol.

Get off of Kobe's jock. You can't just keep going "What if". It's annoying. And it's not a realistic scenario. What if the other 29 NBA teams' all died in plane accidents? That would give the Rockets an even better chance at the championship, no?

Dude, get a grip. LeBron, Wade, even Chris Paul would all make the Rockets a dynasty. You have to stay realistic and stop it.

Well it is his contract year, so I wouldn't be surprised.
Well if you saw the Lakers' wins @ Boston and @ Cleveland, the answer to your question would be YES without a doubt.

    A) I'm not on Kobe's jock.

B)If you could read I was responding to someone saying they would not want Kobe on the Houston Rockets.

You act like I brought up the scenario.

Yeah ban me for responding to a damn statement even though that is what a message board is for.

I just don't understand how anyone can even think like that. Well, anyone that isn't 15 years old. I also think it's offensive to Rockets fans. There is just so many things wrong with such a statement and the fact that it's 99.9% just adds fuel to the fire.

Ron guarded Kobe good in the 2nd q and Kobe only have 6 in the first half, but after Battier took over in the 2nd half, Kobe went out of control.

I think most people or I would hope everyone at this point realizes that Kobe is the better player. T-mac himself said Kobe was better.

I like Lebron but I said this before and I'll say it now when it comes to who scares me the most when they play against the Rockets it is Kobe hands down.

I don't think Battier and Artest did that bad against him tonight he just hit some tough jumpers.

Man I wish I could use that Menace to Society picture as a response to your pointless b****ing.

I made a statement about how I don't see how someone could not want Kobe on the Rockets and here you are whining like a b****.

Artest cannot outplay Kobe Bryant. On the other hand... I believe the Rockets can outplay the Lakers.

How can people talk about wanting Kobe, the best player in the league? Is that even a discussion? Anyone who doesn't want Kobe doesn't want him for reasons outside of basketball. So, what does wanting Kobe have to do anything with the Rockets? I'm sure he'll make the team better

Go use that picture then. I'm sure it'll make you feel better. Not sure if it'll be a feasible substitute for your desire to have Kobe, though.

If Kobe scores 37 on us, so be it.

What worries me is Yao only getting 9 shots. If we can't get Yao to dominate the paint, whether it be his fault or the team's fault, we're screwed against elite teams like the Lakers.

While the trash talking between Maxwell and Jordan went on, Dream was destroying Grant and Cartright with ease.

The storyline shouldn't be 'Kobe kicks Artests butt", it should have been 'Yao destroys Lakers Gasol"

We're 0-3 against them this season aren't we? It's not a bad thing to concede the fact that they're better than us.

By reading this clown response to me you would think that I actually made one of those stupid trade proposals for Kobe.

Mind games. Just typical Laker mind games.

MJ would never say that, still a bit of that immaturity in Kobe that makes me hate him

Honestly Tinman, the missed 3 pointers killed us tonight, and missed jumpers period. In that 4th qt. we missed a lot of open jumpers whether it was mid range or 3 pointers. It was just one of those games where shot were not fallen, everyone has them.

Kobe will get his so I'm not worried about the 37.

As far as Yao goes, he has to do a better job at sealing off his defender in the post and grab rebounds. We also lost this game because of 2nd chance opportunities giving to the Lakers because we simply refused to box out.
