Media: Whats your opinion on this championship? - "Got one more than Shaq!"
Police: Whats your opinion on this rape charge? - "Shaq's cheating, too!"

Since Shaq did the "Ass Taste" rap, Shaq has actually talked well about Kobe in the media the past couple of years.

Ha... at least Shaq has a sense of humor. He's a clown, but not malicious. He is willing to clown himself as well as others.

so what? shaq was wade's sidekick at the end. who cares. kobe has 5, and he is a damn good player. everyone needs help, jordan had pippen, duncan had parker and ginobli, hakeem had the whole team, kobe had shaq, billups had everyone, pierce had kg and allen. so shut up with that sidekick crap.

you know why he is better than horry even thought horry has more rings, because he actually got huge numbers, and wasnt just a role player. he is top 5 of all time, whether you like him or not. say what you want, kobe isnt on the decline, they'll be back at it next year, till he is about 39. even after he retires people are still going to hate him.

Imagine if Shaq would've been able to put his ego aside and let Kobe be alpha dog.

I agree Kobe would not have 5 rings had he not played with Shaq during the early 2000s. I think Shaq would have his 4 rings regardless. Dude was just an unstoppable force in his prime.

Maybe this motivates Shaq to grab his number 5. He certainly failed this season with Lebron. I don't think he's starting material anymore. 20-25 minutes a night max. He's a free agent (pretty sure??) Seems, logical to me that if we're keeping Yao at his projected 20-25 minutes, he'd be a perfect fit for us. I'd definitely rather have Bosh or Jefferson, but I just don't see how a deal involving the kind of $$$ those guys will demand gets done.

I'll **** a brick if he signs for the vet minimum on the Lakers and they do a Bynum for Bosh swap. Grrrrrrrrrrr.

I'm confused. I think you just tried to compare Horry to Bryant? lol.

And Kobe is not Top 5 of all time. Yet. I know 95% of people not on the LA Laker bandwagon will agree. Admittedly, its really impossible to make that list because the game has evolved from the times when Chamberlain and Russell played.

I see a lot of people say Kobe would not have had those rings without Shaq. Well can't you say the same about Shaq if he never had an elite wingman?

Shaq responded right away last night. He said something along the lines of Kobe needs to win 4 more rings to catch MJ. And then he made some mention of MJ's teammates and Kobe playing with him and Gasol.

At least that's what my friend read to me from his iPhone as we were eating after the game.

No, it was the post game press conference with all the media. Not the Hannah Storm interview!

I actually like their "rivalry" more this way because instead of lame cold shoulders during games, they make playful jabs at one another. I think what he said was funny, as was Shaq's response.

I was like wow, then I was rofl cuz I understand now why Kobe was so quiet in response to SHaqs club diss.. turns out he used that as motivation to just keep his head down and prove Shaq wrong and to now rub it in his face.. lol I didnt expect that one-liner from him, take that to the bank

I think Bryant was referring to how Shaq dissed him in the rap at a time when Shaq had more rings than Kobe...probably.

and vice versa  its not a 1 way sreet, altho Shaq was the driving force, Kobe was the closer cuz u couldnt have Shaq tryna ice games at the free throw line, he was on the bench alot to avoid it

What you said makes absolutely no sense at all. What could Shaq possibly whine about. Kobe's supporting cast was garbage when Shaq got traded.

So what exactly could Shaq wine about?

Umm whine about playing with Dwyane Wade
Whine about playing with Steve Nash and Amare Stoudemire?
Whine about playing with LeBron James?
