It's not like that at all. Miley probably chose to make that video while Kobe was only allowed to play by the rules set by others. Also, you can play something and still think that the older version of it was better if you if you are great at the current version. Why should he not say he likes the old school rules if that's how he really feels?
Nowadays, literally anybody can get out there and get to the basket and you can't touch anybody. Back then, if guys put their hands on you, you had to have the skill to be able to go both ways, change direction, Is he still talking basketball here or the rape case?
For as much talent and work ethic Kobe has displayed, he has arguably benefited the most from the rule change over his career. Kobe would not have the same career if not for the rule changes over the years. He probably would not be in the same category as MJ as he is now. While I do agree that the NBA is becoming too finesse and almost hard to watch with all the flops and acts to get calls is hurting the NBA. Him and his ability to get the superstar calls has elevated his career from great to all time great. If Kobe were to play in the NBA he grew up watching, 80's in particular, he would just be a great, maybe even HOF player, not the 2nd greatest SG to play.
LMFAO Kobe is trying to rewrite history. He NEVER was tough or physical. He can talk about "how it used to be", but he isn't Charles Oakley, Derek Harper, Vernon Maxwell or Dennis Rodman...... he is and was a finesse, soft guy.
kobe nut hugger detected gets carried by shaq to 3 rings getting bailed out by artest and Gasol wastes his prime years getting eliminated by the suns in the first round that's pretty much Kobe's legacy
"I hate all these touch fouls, but if I don't get every whistle my way I'll cry like the b**** that I am. Oh, and I'm a rapist." -KtattedinonedayforstreetcredbeforejailB
This sounds like a shot at James Harden. Gets to the rim, gets foul calls, doesn't have a mid-range game, post game, doesnt' really switch directions etc.
Can you provide some actual evidence to show that Kobe scored more in the 4th qtr or the last few minutes of games than Shaq? Specifically playoff games?
