Should Kobe not be a good teammate, there's no way they can bounce back from the lottery two years ago to today's status. Kwame was a bust in Wizards, now a solid contributor in Lakers, can we say MJ was a worse teammate despite he's 40 years old mature?

For the good person and good husband etc. I don't see MJ doing any better than Kobe. It's not like MJ was royal or no gambling problem.

Last time I checked, basketball was played on court, if you take care too much of a bb player off court, you are probably making excuse.

actually, kwames last year in washington was his best. he hasnt yet reached that pt with the lakers.

ok, but what does MJ have to do with this? nothing.

i am sorry that i like to cheer for decent human beings. i guess b/c someone is talented it makes up for being an A-hole. thats a good lesson for the kids.

When they say ruthless and competitive, they dont mean that they are the biggest as*holes on earth. It means that they can be the nicest guys the world has ever seen, but when they get on that court they want to win. When they start to play ball, they will win and embarass anyone it takes to win that game. Put it all out there.

Hakeem and Magic did that. If you watch some of those interviews of Magic about his rivalry between him and Bird, he will say that he wanted to go out there and completely destroy him. That he was no longer a friend when they stepped on to the court. He even tackled Isaiah one game he was doing really well to let him know he was there.

Handshakes are to be done after the game is over, not during. You can't win unless you have a competitive edge. Too bad it only shows up in T-macs eyes a few times a year.
