Princess Steph can have the KiaMVP. Harden is the Players MVP.

Got a link about these player awards? I need more info about them.

    yoooooooo!
how come this is not talked about more?
i have no idea what race you are, but i genuinely think a LOT of media love comes from the fact that steph is light-skinned and therefore perceived as non-threatening. i mean, he is an affable guy, but the overwhelming love for him strikes me as...odd. harden's behind the back pass to t-jones in game 5 for a slam would've been SC top ten if curry did the same exact thing. instead the highlight of the game is aminu's meaningless dunk.
it also just exposes generally how white-washed basketball (and to be fair, all media) media is. guys like to write about guys they perceive as non-threatening. no one knows how to read harden because his beard hides his face, but one thing everyone can see is that he's dark-skinned. this whole "DWIGHT OWNS GUNS" narrative that's popped up recently also rubs me the wrong way. a lot of people, particularly in texas, own guns.
it's just the type of stuff that makes you go "hmmmmmm."

I hope most of the Houston radio sports writer guys don't get to vote for MVP. That guy John Lopez knows nothing about NBA basketball much less Rockets. Same for Rich Lord.
