Kobe stopped shooting in a road game when they're already down 20 in 3rd quarter. That's what happened in 2006 game 7. He got 23 in first half and they're down 15. He shot 3 times in 2nd half and they lost by 30. It didn't matter as that team had no defense.

Kobe gave up in a blowout game. He didn't shy away when Lakers had a chance. He scored 5 points in final minute game 6, and 8 points in OT. No other Lakers scored during that period.

And no, Kobe didn't join other superstars so he could get some rings too. Imagine Kobe joined Rox after beaten by Suns. Only LeBron would do that.

Has it occurred to you that he singled out Kobe b/c Kobe is the player that gets compared to him the most?

Seriously man, use some critical thinking...

Being down 15 points at halftime is not a blowout game.

They're down 20+ 3 minutes into 3rd before Kobe even had a chance to take a shot. The game was already lost there. The role players ain't playing defense.

"MJ just told me Kobe’s the ONLY one to have done the work, to deserve comparison."

Or maybe you need to improve your comprehension skills.

Do you realize that in your efforts to defend Kobe, you're saying that being down 20 pts with 21 minutes left in the game is beyond the point of no return?

Considering the fact that comebacks from 20 pt deficits aren't uncommon, don't you think you should rethink your position?

Not when your role players ain't playing any defense in an away game. It's evident in body language.

Like I said, Jordan just wants people to pay attention to him.

Instead of worrying about my comprehension skills, maybe you should work on your naivete....

Make all the excuses you want, but the fact remains that Kobe quit when the game was still within reach.

You don't think its possible that when the role players saw Kobe quit, they gave up on trying to play defense?

Jordan would attract more attentions had he belittled the entire league, why Kobe?

At the end of the day, it's Jordan said Kobe deserved comparison. A LeBron nuthugger doesn't have more authority.

So scored 23 points in half is a sign of quit? LOL, I overestimate the IQ of LeBron fanboys.

Quitting is taking 3 shots in the 2nd half....

Wasn't it just a few posts ago where you told me to work on my comprehension skills?

No one would care if Jordan talked about the league. It's more newsworthy to talk about Kobe.

Why do you think Shaq talks about Dwight Howard and not Brook Lopez?

Ironically you believe your words weight more than MJ's for an MJ comparison. Any further discussion is a waste of my time.

MJ is the best, but he sux at recognizing talent. That been said, Kobe's definitely a top 5 sg of all time.

As someone that has supported Kobe through the years because I've been a fan of his game, you can't really make the comparison because of everything thats put out there. Just by achievements, it's not a fair comparison and an insult to Michael. A lot of Kobe fans are blatant homers about this and they like to throw out individual feats that Jordan may have not done, but from an overall standpoint, it's really not even close IMO.

I really don't think lebron will get it together mentally. I think he is the best player in the league, statistically it isn't a question. He has the gifts, but he is missing something mentally to be able to take on the presssure and in those moments, he doesn't want to be critisized etc. That is why he has a championships closer /winner and in the ifnals, this was Wade's team without a doubt as in it wasn't lebron adjusting or just passing and sharing ,it twas lebron watching as if he was James jones.
