exactly. his stamina is not the best simply b/c he isn't in the shape he was during his best years. he should be around 215-220 lbs, not 230-240 lbs. hopefully since he hasn't experienced any back spasms this year, maybe he can do something to get back into shape.

i think he has given up some exercises simply b/c of his back.

Well, he looked in better shape and moved better (even after some of the injuries) this season than he did last season so maybe he will continue to get lean up. Last season he looked like a slug trying to get to the rim. This season he looked fantastic early on and still seemed pretty explosive until the injuries just kept mounting.

I still can't understand how world class athletes in their 20s manage to get chubby or even "soft" like Tmac has become. Meanwhile, Calvin Murphy looks to be just a little heavier than his playing days at the age of 60.

his trainer said b/c of back problems, he can't do some of the strenuous exercise he used to do to maintain his great shape.

Shouldn't have any impact on his body fat.

he did come into this past season in tremendous shape, quick, agile, athletic as ever.

injuries came and then all he did was sit his arse b/c of his knee and got bigger. like i said, injuries during the season really destroyed his rhythm this year.

He did a reverse 360 on a dead play against the Bulls this season, didn't he?

    You're an idiot.

He had double surgery a day or two after the playoff exit.

T-Mac can still get up there. He had some facials this year along with a lot of nice dunks. They just get overshadowed by the negativity that T-Mac gets from the fans and the media.

He was out for half a season + off-season so that means he was in a state of inactivity for a while. During that time he probably ate the same way he did when he was working out and playing. But since his body didn't expend all that energy by some sort of strenuous activity (game, workout), it stored it as fat.

So pretty much he was as healthy as a normal individual should be but not in tip top shape like an athlete is supposed to be.

most of those were pre-knee problems. man, who the hell hit him in there man? and then landry too?

you can see he still has all the things that should make him a dominant scorer. but once again, the theme during his era, stay freakin' healthy.

Those dunks all pretty much prove that he isn't what he used to be though. T-mac looks like an above average dunker in those vids. If you look at highlights from his older teams, he was a lot faster/more explosive and had another 6 inches of elevation.
