Thats a pretty intersting statement. I like Reggie he won games. But Kobe by himself didn't win any playoffs. His not like Mac he won't say his tired but I foudn it extremely interesting that he was tired against us in the 22nd win. I think at the end of the day Mac has really never had a playoff cast thats been good, the one time he did have it he had a coach who didn't manage to adept to Utah

your agument was pretty good until you brought that guy's name up. now you just sound like a hater.

reggie did NOTHING but shoot the ball. he never rebounded, passed, created, do picks... all he did was what jason kapono does but much better. so tell me, if that's all you do, you better be demanding the ball and be fresh b/c you're offering the team jack the rest of the game

and why are you being so defensive? 100% on this board, including me, said kobe is better. nobody is aruging that dude so stop beating a dead horse. we're all just simply saying even the best needs help. kobe never gotten anywhere that tmac didn't go without help.

so what we need to do is surround tmac with players that can playmake for him, shoot the ball for him (3s)... he needs a guy like odom who can do all of the things tmac can do pretty well so he can score. you know what i mean?

The only person who is close to Kobe is MJ. It is unfair to compare ANYBODY else to Kobe.

I'd take lebron. When you can single handily beat a pretty good Detroit pistons team you deserves major props. I don't think kobe has single-handedly beat any good team.

Kobe had to share the scoring load with Shaq, that's why his playoff average is lower. That's common sense

All the greats knew how to conserve their energy to the time when it matter most.

Not to take anything away from Kobe but it is a lot easier for him to score that way than Tmac. why?

    1) He has a legit big man. He has Paul Gasol, a great passing and mobile big man, and Tmac has Deke or Chuck Hayes. Camby can't leave Pau and come double team.

    2) He has Lamar Odom. Lamar can create his own shot and thus, his defender has to stay at home. Rockets got Battier, not exactly an offensive threat. Good spot up shooter but that's it.

3)Solid, legit role players. The Lakers players got guys who can knock shots down. I don't like Vujajunk but he can stroke it. Fischer isn't bad.

The Lakers have a much better team that will force the opponent to play one on one with Kobe. The Nuggets don't have a Shane Battier type wing defender so there you go. I think to compare what Bryant is doing with his team and what McGrady is doing with this team is a little unfair. Both are great players but the advantage def goes to Bryant (obviously he is a better player) but his teammates, by being consistant threats unlike the what Rockets have, allow him the freedom to be able to do what he does.

Yao is the best center in the league, not up to prime shaq's caliber but still a pretty good one, certainly better than Gasol. So why TMac's not winning with Yao? It can't all be Yao's fault, can it?

Winners find the way to win, demand trade or what not. Losers are stuck in losing. TMac has been working for 3 teams and none work out.

    Who to blame, God?

This is life! If you never met similar situation in your life, it means you are a really lucky person. But, sooner or later, you will face something like this.

This is so funny. I remember it is not long ago, all American called Kobe a whinner, and he was almost kicked out by the lakers.

Kobe had MDP and they won 3 rings. TMac has YaoMing, not MDP, but best center in the league for last several years and they can't pass first round, can't see the difference here?

Kobe wasnt anything but a big freaking crybaby this summer throwing everybody under the bus the owner, his teammates and the reason he even had a chance for an MVP in the first place.

Only a blind as a bat hater would ignore that.

The funnest thing is that, it seems the admirers of Kobe here don't know Kobe at all.

OK, but this is the first year TMac is playing with Yao?
There's simply no excuse to lose to an underdog last year.
