Would you pull the trade for Lowry + Scola for Pau Gasol? Our lineup would be this: Dragic/Lin Lee Parsons Pau Gasol Camby/Dalembert
Dude.. ask one of your friends. This forum has too many hypothetical questions, too many knee jerk reactions and way too much homerism. I rarely post on here, but I always have opinions.. I feel we should contribute to an actual, relevant discussion or just be quiet. Maybe it's just me who feels this way, and I definitely dont mean to come across rude. I just dont like seeing a flooded Rox forum full of nonsensical ramblings.
No, because you Dragic is not guaranteed to come back next season. Though, the Lakers were r****ded not to take Dragic+ Scola for Pau.
His friend asked him earlier if he knew he would be burning after sleeping with some chick, would he do it again. The obvious answer was yes...
The Scola + Lowry trade was proposed/in question around the trade deadline, well after we had released Jeremy Lin. So, in your hypothetical, it would be Dragic/Boykins.
No, the only Laker I would accept is Sessions (technically not yet a cocky Hollywood b*stard), the rest can stay where they are.
Lowry and Scola for Gasol is a massive overpay no matter how you slice it. Morey himself said that the only time you overpay is when you're one piece away, which the Rockets are not.
U should also add.....also knowing Lin season is over with knee surgery coming up? but i agree with that other guy....go ask ur friend, gasol trade is over and asking what if questions does not give any value add to this forum
I'm sorry. Dragic/Lin Lee/Bud/Martin Parsons/Morris Camby/Dally/Smith Gasol/Patterson is a nasty, filthy roster. And with that unit, you've still got the ability to move Martin plus something else for another substantial upgrade. But that unit right there would be busting the door down on the Spurs, Lakers, and Thunder to come out of the West.
Scotland is my favorite player but yes I would make that move. The Lakers wouldn't though they got Sessions on the cheap and he is as good or better than Kyle. DD
Hey, this is obviously a post-Stern Debacle deal. I can't recall at the moment if we still had Lin, but I don't think so. Dragic/Boykins?(?-if we got him) Martin/Lee/Bud (if Martin is injured, he's on the bench) Parsons/Bud/Morris Camby/Dally/Patterson/(we still have Smith?) Gasol/Patterson/Dally I'm assuming Martin isn't injured (who knows, if the dynamic has changed?), and I'm probably forgetting someone. The Lakers wanted Paul, not Lowry and Scola. If this is a seperate Post-Stern Debacle deal, that's different. Had we done that deal directly with LA right after being Screwed by Stern, who knows if we end up with Camby or Boykins, but I'm assuming we do. Also, we have no depth at the one for quite a while sans Lowry (the same problem we have now), so no telling what our record would be. Bud's behind Parsons, not Morris. Bud's also behind Lee, of course. Interesting lineup, either way. Maybe for golf! If Morey offered Scola/Lowry right after the Stern Debacle, I think they jump on it, Sessions be damned. (maybe we get him?)
Dude, okay we get it, you were gay for ABZ but you don't have to troll every thread with a comment about how Lowry sucks or how this guy is better than Lowry.
Our hypothetical team would be Lowry,Lin Lee, Parsons,Bud Gasol,Patterson Nene,Hayes Because we cut lin before the season started, that trade rumor lowry came out during the season, If we were to do that trade during the season straight up lowry and scola for gasol our hypothetical lineup would be this Dragic,Boykins Lee,Martin Parsons,Budinger,Morris Gasol,Patterson Dalembert,Camby And honestly Bud, Lee, Lowry, Dragic, Parsons and Patterson are all very good players and are under 26 (Morris has potential but im not counting him yet). I think we have the time to get a better deal, for someone younger and with a better contract.
i would prefer trying to see what else we could net with lowry and perhaps scola....im really interested to see if we could engage portland for that draft pick and a wesley matthews. lowry would be GREAT in portland
I think Sessions is a heck of a PG, have wanted him on the Rox for years, saw him in Milwaukee and how he played there. The Lakers kept their core and got a starting caliber PG - that is a better deal. Deckard, Scola was what I meant to type, but error correct on the IPad changed it.... DD
