Knicks want Mo Taylor

    A Camby trade would be to unload JOHNSON. That would be the only way a team with a lot of cap space would be able to get Camby, and I bet that is a turnoff.

    My money is on Johnson retiring, besides the Knicks dont need to unload anyone because they have no shot at cap space.

    Well, I watch the Rockets every game, and I am saying Mo is soft. He wouldn't help the Knicks at all.

    Ok, I'll refrain from using the word "soft". A big man that averages 5 rpg won't help the Knicks at all, unless he scores 25+ ppg which he does not.

    But can A. Houston get to the rack like Mobley? Who is quicker? Allan Houston cannot create his own shot. He has to come off of several screens ala Reggie Miller. And as far as Sprewells defensive tenacity, we saw it up close as Cuttino had him one on one with seconds remaining in the game this past season only to blow by Sprewell for a layup to win the game. And as far as a better decision maker....did Cuttino ever decide to choke his coach? [​IMG]

    And your experienced All-Star got ran out of the playoffs when he was on and alleged "contender" didn't he! I don't see anything on the Knicks that the Rockets would want, aside from Camby and Sprewell they're full of crappy players for the most part. As for Cuttino Mobley being overrated, I guess 20 ppg on a team that won 45 games rebuilding is pretty good. Houston may be a better shooter, but Cuttino is a better slasher. And a slasher is less likely to shoot his team out of a game then a shooter is. I suggest you worry about your Knicks because they're getting old, broken down, and soft in the paint VERY quickly! Oh, and good luck getting cap room! And I hope you manage to re-sign the overrated Allan Houston!

    If THAT's your criteria, and you're not taking into account age or anything, then, yeah,of course Sprewell is WAY better because he's an All Star...no, question about it...Nothing to do with playing in the biggest media market, no, not at all...And the fact that proffessional sports players from NY and LA get to All Star games almost 1 1/2 times as much as when they don't play in the major media markets is probably completely irrelevant too...Yep, you're bang on the money! Age is irrelevant, market, the fact that Spree plays in the East...None of that matters. Oh, and while Houston's ablility to get his jumper off while Alvin Williams was ALL OVER him in the playoffs really, really impressed me (not being sarcastic, it was something to see) on THIS team, I'll take Cat. His first step is better than anyone's on NY, and while you maybe could argue that right now Houston's game could help, esp. with the new rules, I'll stick with the guy we've got. It works.

    There is no deluded fan on par with Knickfan. It reminded me of the moron in Madison Square Garden who held up a sign about how many regular season games the Knicks won over the Rockets. It takes some unmitigated *gall* for a fan of the Knicks to dare talk about overrated players. Your entire franchise is overrated. The Rockets will win another title before the Knicks do, rest assured. Now run along and tell Latrell Cuttino's gonna whip his ass again, be-yotch!

    Oh yes we were run out of the playoffs, where were you guys?

    The First time our crew got ran out of the first round in TEN (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10) years. I'm not scared of not making the playoffs, but saying "aside from Camby and Sprewell they are a bunch of crappy players" is not correct. Houston is an all-star caliber player, Thomas would be a great fit on the Rockets, and all the Rudy T draft supporters always call Harrington a "find".

    I guess it matters who you are praising. If you are praising your coach, Harrington's a find, now that he's on a team that you are trying to say sucks, he's crappy.


    Hell, I want to rebuild, but Layden doesn't want to. I could give less about being in the playoffs for 10+ years (Although, it's a pretty good fact to say when people like you say the team sucks). The Knicks will be in the playoffs yet again next year, barring a rebuilding project. They'll be in the Finals if C-Webb comes to town and he comes to his senses and burns SAC.

    The Knicks tried to make a play for Elton Brand on draft night before the Bulls dealt him to the Clippers. But once again, New York didn't have the necessary assets to get the deal done. They've tried offering Seattle Glen Rice or Larry Johnson for Gary Payton, which, of course, the Sonics laughed at.

    Is it my fault Layden doesn't know how to evaluate talent? No. Is is my fault Layden makes farfetched trade offers? No.

    The Rockets are far better than the Knicks. The Knicks made the playoffs in the EAST, and lost in the first round! All that talent and they don't even average 90 ppg. There's no comparison between the Rockets and Knicks, that matchup isn't even close. The only player on the Knicks I would want is Luc, and that is only because of my Aussie Pride!

    hahahahahahahah!!!! the knicks will make the EASTERN CONFERENCE playoffs, yeah, but so could i with my 2 brothers, my little niece who's 12 and old man jenkins down the way! the only good player the knicks got now is houston. spree is WAY overrated, campy is a mess (he's just got long arms, and talk about soft, he's is perpetually hurt) and kt??? whatever.
