As a whole, there are very few High IQ players on that team, and Woodson does a bad job of keeping them in check. Smith has always been a threat to go off the reservation, and without a real leader in the locker room to reign him in, he always proves himself to be a cancer. They like to pretend they are contenders, but there is no way they can beat Miami, Indiana, Chicago (with Rose), and maybe not even Brooklen in a 7 game series. They just seem to lack discipline when things are on the line.
Not a stunner. I mean, does anyone believe that J.R. Smith is an introspective intelligent young man who after the game likes to curl up with his Kindle (tm) and further expand the galaxy of his mind? Nope, he's a very well-paid fool who never learned to pull his head out of his ass. Someone must have tied a millstone to that team's ankles after its fast start. It's been sinking steadily since. ^This. I like Woodson a lot but coaching that team must be akin to being one of the teachers at the beginning of the movie "Lean on Me". They need a calming yet jack-slapping personality on that team.
JR Smith reminds me of Isiah Rider. Talented as hell, but a complete dumb ass who doesn't deserve the fame and money that comes with being in the NBA. I can also see him having to resort to selling stolen phones ones he is kicked out of the NBA.
"As a whole, there are very few High IQ players on that team" You're wrong. The Knicks's team IQ is average. Oh wait nevermind. That was when Lin was on the team . . . Just kidding!
You guys know Melo and JR Smith used to be the enemy of Knicks. A lot of Knicks fans didn't care about Melo or JR. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Knicks–Nuggets_brawl
