For those of you who aren't familiar with Jordan Hill <object width="560" height="340"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/NTakBgkoQEU&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/NTakBgkoQEU&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="560" height="340"></embed></object> <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/CGXNwhA-dlA&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/CGXNwhA-dlA&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> strengths and weaknesses are from draft express the chart is with defense, potential..etc is from nbadraft.net
Also, speaking of Gallinari, his stats are promising for his age and he sounds like a pretty good player based on the scouting reports, does anybody have any opinions on him?
imo he looks like a really raw Chris Bosh. Still it will take a lot to turn into Chris Bosh. I think being on team USA took him to....<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/YJnGRuidOXI&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/YJnGRuidOXI&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>.
Apparently DA at the all-star game said there's a 50/50 chance that something with New York could happen.
Budinger sighting at 1:43 I would prefer a trade with another team with more talent involved, but for me, any deal that could get us SOME kind of talent is better than no deal.
NYK simply needs to bring Washington or Chicago into picture and let us have some talent from those teams.
- Very good rebounder. - Intimidation, athletic, long arms, agressive. Defensively, sometimes lost and sometimes innocent; on the other hand, great mobility, lateral quickness, attitude, leaping ability, frame. Potential. - Offensively, he shows also signs of potential with some interesting moves still grinding. Still raw material. Interesting 15-feet jumper and improving. Not great hands. Finishes strong. Good movement off the ball, activity. Overall I think he's a very interesting prospect, he looks like a PF who can compete face-to-face with anybody in the future.
That's the biggest thing here. If Chicago wants Tmac then MAYBE we can get Hill from them. If Tmac goes to Chicago, and Amare goes to Cleveland. NYK can forget about whatever it is they were planning. Because Wade would head to Chicago figuring if Tmac takes a pay-cut (I'm thinking he will, since this whole thing has pissed him off. He has to be in revenge/ring mode) and Lebron would resign. As for Joe Johnson...I don't see why he'd sign any where else and Bosh is the only big mystery. Also Memphis would be stupid not to match any offer Rudy gets. If Chicago doesn't have interest in Tmac, DM has no leverage (unless there is some other team out there...)
well I was looking at the Knicks RealGM forum.. their fans were saying the Knicks shouldn't give up any young talent to get McGrady.. they said if the Rockets wanted Jordan Hill they should give up Budinger and/or an unprotected 1st rounder
Walsh: "Good luck with that." 0% chance NY deals us Galinari without us taking back a lot of salary or throwing back talent in return.
Rockets just want to pair him next to bud again... Bud calls morey: "We need to go get Jordan from New York, he isn't getting any minutes over there." Daryl: Who is this again? Bud: Chase Budinger, your makeshift SG! Daryl: Oh sorry, I thought you were tracy making those demands. But yeah thats something we can look at. What we don't want here chase is going over the luxury tax. Bud: Les always says if it's to get a good player we could! Daryl: Thats what he says but he always omes in on thurday and says get us under, But Back to Hill, I'll see what i can do as soon as i get back up from Mark Cuban sweeping the legs. Bud: Sounds Great Let's party.
I'm would hate making this trade, but it might make sense in some alternate universe: New York gets - McGrady, Scola, Budinger Houston gets - Hughes, Milicic, Gallinari, Hill Works on the trade thingy, but blows my mind.
