Yeah, but wouldn't it be funny to hear: "Houston shot 4 for 8 on 3 pointers, and Houston was 9 for 16", or "Houston's shot at the buzzer gave Houston their 5th consecutive win" or "In order to win, Houston needs to set up more picks for Houston", etc.
Oh Come on It will be SSSOOOO MUCH FUN watch ANY COAch try to play Spreewell, houston and Lebron together I mean .Spree is the best but a head case Houston makes a 100 mill [see the MOT Factor] and Lebron is the Phenom . . . This has comedy written all over it Rocket River
maybe if we go back to having "houston" on our jerseys, like the red and gold one's, he could have "houston 20" on the front and back. he would allways wear it backwards like Nelly, but he would never realize it. or Nelly in his new video wouldnt know how to wear it backwards to keep his trend going.
I didn't see it until now, but I can imagine it doing better than some off-broadway shows. lol, thanks for that perspective.
Yo, Solid, I agree. Let's take any reference to God or JC off the table (when used in a profanity ---- or "vein"..... did Yetti mean "vane"?. Dude needs to learn to spell). Let's all reference s**t, f***, damn, darn, shoot, p**s, gollygees, etc., etc., but careful how we use our Lord's name. OK?
I'm guessing the conversation between CD and Scott Layden went something like this *ring* CD: Hello? SL: Hey man I have a trade offer for you. CD hesitating for a second: Ummm, ok shoot. SL: How about we send you Thomas, Houston and some crap for Cat, KT, Mo. CD: Ummm, Thomas and Houston are crap, why would we take them? SL: Because you need a SF! CD: We have like 50 SFs on our roster. SL: But that's the beauty of it we would take two of your PFs, and and give you Kurt Thomas. That way you won't have an overload of PFs and SFs, and Griffin can play SF, at least that is what the publications say. CD: But who would be our PF? SL: Kelvin Cato or Kurt Thomas! CD: Didn't Kurt Thomas beat his wife or something? SL: Did he. . .ummm. . .look we'll sweeten the pot a little, we'll take Glen Rice back and take him off of your hands, we'll even throw Shandon Anderson into the deal! CD: Is this a joke? SL: I'm as serious as a heart attack! Is Yao Ming available? CD: Is this a prank or something? Aren't you the guy with the fat father on those stupid NBA Bloopers tapes with Marv Albert? SL: Ummmm. CD: I don't have time for this I'm about to enjoy the greatest team in NBA history play! SL: Now who's joking? CD: Get the hell out of here I have business to take care of! SL: Wait, wait. . . *click* SL: I am so fired.
Dude if you are going to correct spelling, make sure you get it right. It is vain, unless your are talking about a weather vane or part of a heat sink or something.
Sources neither confirm nor deny that there is any truth or lack of truth in what might otherwise be construed as a rumour with or without substantiation as is allegedly reported to have been possibly overheard being potentially discussed in terms of whether or not there was therein veracity, accuracy, or the lack thereof....
jesus christ do you speak the truth! my favorite post of the year goes to R0ckets03... (not that my opinions carry much weight or anything... )
If that trade goes through, I recommend trading the Franchise for... Robert Horry? Yao for future 2nd round draft pick, ayone? might as well... seriously
Newsflash for some of you... While Allan Houston may be an overpaid wuss of a SG, Kurt Thomas happens to be head and shoulders better than any 4 we have on our roster. He's a better scorer and rebounder than KT and MO put together. Im not condoning the ridiculous trade, Im just pointing out that some of your comments lead me to believe that you people have never seen Kurt Thomas play...especially over the last year and a half.
Kurt Thomas' wife beating skills are indeed better than any 4 on our roster. If only we were in the Domestic Violence Association instead of the National Basketball Association ......
As I said in the "Should Cato go to NY" thread: TRADE OF THE YEAR: We need a backup 2.... Cato for Shandon!!!!
I cant believe we are actually discussing this. Any more large and unearned contracts that we should take on?
I've seen Kurt Thomas play, he IS NOT worth giving up Mo, KT, Rice and Cat for. And I'm sorry, a 100 million dollar SG who doesn't attack the basket and doesn't have post up skills isn't worth it. Kurt Thomas happens to be head and shoulders better than any 4 we have on our roster. He's a better scorer and rebounder than KT and MO put together. You are crazy if you think Kurt Thomas is head and shoulders above Mo, KT and Griffin. I'm sorry that is just crazy.
Kurt Thomas happens to be head and shoulders better than any 4 we have on our roster. He's a better scorer and rebounder than KT and MO put together. I'm sorry this is getting to me, Kurt Thomas averaged 13 ppg and 9 rpg last year, KT averaged 14 ppg and 7 rpg how does that make him heads and shoulders better then KT!? But I decided to put Mo and KT together since you said he is a better scorer and rebounder then both of them put together. I'm throwing in Mo's career average since he was injured last year. Kurt Thomas last year 13 ppg, 9 rpg. KT's stats last year and Mo's career stats combined: 28 ppg 12 rpg. For Mo's career he averaged 14 ppg and 5 rpg. Never mind Griffin, I don't care what Griffin's stats are you can keep Kurt Thomas I'll take Griffin in a heart beat.
